I heard about M&M coming out with a 3rd edition, but didn't h ear about a DC RPG based on M&M coming out. Hmm, wonder how the rules will be set up for it.

I dunno, but I'm pretty psyched. I've wanted to run a Superman Campaign for a loooooong time.

Now is it stand alone or does it require the M&M rules.

Probably a standalone. The site says it's 'Based' on M&M, but not a M&M supplement. So it probably includes the core operating rules in it.

Uh, what Presto said. That's pure conjecture on my behalf, admittedly.

The Hero's Handbook provides everything you need for hours of adventure in the DC Universe, including all the rules of the game, an overview of the original comic- book setting, and details on major heroes and villains, complete with game information. So yeah, think so. XD

Its a darn good thing, considering the price. The Heroes & Villains Guides (basically compilations of the various DC chars) are 50$ each!!!

I find its really tricky to run a table top RPG without having at least the core rules in a form I can check at the table if need be.

Print them out, or print out just the important pages, tables, etc... Though, nothing feels as good as actually holding the book in your hand. XD

I think a bunch of us are. I also use a laptop at my groups. Saves a lot of paper. My last group (broke up due to our GM not being able to get his visa renewed) We all used laptops.
