Looks ok. I love the continuity of characters across the marvel movies. I am not sure what his name is... but he is the guy from Iron Man 2... Nice addition.
I will be there to watch it. Seems more Fantastic Four than Incredible Hulk or Iron Man... but I will watch it nonetheless.

The experience was ruined a little for me when Thor said, "Oh no, this is Earth, isn't it." I haven't read that many Thor comic books and am currently thinking of getting some. But I think it would have been more appropiate if he had said Midgard instead of Earth. But they probably did that, because people would be wondering what he is talking about. There hasn't been a Thor movie until now, correct? I am still gonna see this movie and Captain America when they come out.

Hmmm.....interesting.
Odds are, no matter if it's good or not, that definately looks like the kind of thing I can enjoy. I'll be seeing it for sure.

Not unless you count Thor's appearance in one of the old made-for-TV Hulk movies. And that guy couldn't even fly. Yeesh.

This Trailer says many things, but one thing It doesnt say is "This is a movie about Marvel Superhero named Thor". I expected someone more hammy, proud and noble, not a Harley Davidson fanboy.
...oh wait, they partially based him on Ultimate Universe. Should've known.

I like the angle of him coming to earth for his banishment as the start. It gives an excuse for him to be brash and arrogant... The yelling match with Odin alone was powerfull to me. I can't imagine having the stones to yell at Odin. Yowza.
Nightmare: I completely agree. Even if the movie is bad I think I wil enjoy it. One thing that bothered me was the fight scene between him and loki. If there is a physical battle between Thor and Loki and Loki holds his own I think it will cheapen the movie and will turn me off in a major way. Loki is very multi-dimensional and cunning... he plays Thor in very interesting ways that transfer to the big screen. But A Kung Fu fight between Thor and Loki is too much for me.
Playah: Don't forget, 'Adventures in babysitting'/

I kind of thought the shouting match was laughable and poorly acted, personally, based on that clip.
Also, I'm pretty sure Loki and Thor do fight. I think I saw some concept art for this ridiculous battle suit that Loki wears?

Did Ultimate Thor refer to Earth as just Earth? Again I haven't really read any Thor comics but I am currently tempted to when I get the chance. I just feel like that Thor should always be calling our world Midgard. Maybe I have been influence by T.V. too much.

Ultimate Thor rarely made specific references to Asgard or Midgard, so it wasn't such a big thing. I know he did say Midgard at times, but he didn't say it every other page like the standard Marvel character.
Ultimate Thor was also a tree hugging hippy moron. So who cares?

That is not the Thor I know. And I don't really know him that well. My expectations for this movie may have lowered a little. Especially if Thor and Loki do have a big fight scene. A few years ago I would have thought they do that in the comic books. But now, I would expect Loki to make Thor beat himself up or something in that aspect. That is what Loki would do right?

Well, first of all, I don't know where playah gets the notion that this char. is based on Ultimate Thor... nothing I've seen in print or the previews seems to suggest that. Ultimate Thor has an almost completely different origin story, and requires a belt to use his powers. So don't let what playah is saying dissuade you.
That said, I do think this movie is going to suck LOL Just not because of any relation to Ultimate Thor.
Anyway... Loki has attempted to duke it out with Thor a time or two, but that never ends well for him (and usually happens only after Loki is either cornered, or has somehow obtained some extra butt-kicking power from an outside source). In general, Loki manipulates. He lets others do his fighting.

I liked Hulk vs Thor for just that reason.

I liked Hulk vs Thor for just that reason. Yeah, I thought it was okay. I liked how they presented Asgard and stuff, and Loki definitely got some love. They let him be the real deal.

Unfortunately, as both Iron Man movies have shown, Marvel is selling the big fight scene at the end. I mean seriously... in both movies he fights a powered armor bad guy as the final fight. Where is the mandarin? I fear that it is going to be a uperpowered Loki taking it to Thor before Thor gets angry and finally turns the tide. Probably when Loki hurts a female. I bet it ends in the same typical, hero gets angry and fights back, manner. As I am a Thor fan I am kind of sad... but for the effects, the opportunity to see comics come to life, and the continuity across marvel movies... I will see the movie. ======= Here si what I would have preffered. As Thor was literally created to beat the hulk, I would have liked to see a crossover. They wouldn't need to focus on the hulk much... Maybe have an initial scene where hulk is rampaging and Thor is appathetic. His redemption could come when he sacrifices himself and his own desires to reign in the hulk. This would have been an amazing scene and could have worked.
