Despite the crash-landing of some unknown object, Magneto does not concern himself with that. He figured the sickeningly-selfless heroes would rush blindly into that problem; the mutant leader of the Brotherhood has different ideas, however. His mind wracked itself at whatever means he might have at his disposal in order to escape this troublesome area. He hovered over to the safest spot possible to ponder his next move.

Spider-Man was wary of Doom, and held back, keeping his eyes scanning the horizon in all directions. Doctor Doom was the kind of threat that was rarely out, no matter how bad he looked. He was also the sort to have minions about, usually in the form of his Doom-bots, but Spider-Man wouldn't have put it past him to have gotten help from any convenient goon types that their "host" might have invited along for this journey.
Speak for yourself Rusty, Spider-Man kept up string of jokes, since sarcasm was easier than acknowledging the danger of their situation, I'm just a spider, in funny tights, but that's still a big step up from dust...

The Human Torch
OOC Weird, not been getting updates, maybe I need to check or uncheck something. Still here anyway.
"Get back from him!" shouts the Torch. "No matter what happened to Doctor Doom he's still one of the most dangerous men alive! Ben!" he shouts, as he circles the prone Doom. "Let's take him before he can get away!"
Human Torch soars in, but something inside of him holds his attack in check - seeing an opponent down, even Doom, does not sit right with regards attacking them.
"It could be a trick! Spidey! You seem to know about these things... though I put it down to dumb luck with the emphasis on dumb... so what do you think?"
ACTIONS
Hold off on attacking, but be ready in case the man in the iron mask tries anything.

"I do not trust him" Colossus says to Captain America and the rest of the group. "Do you want me to restrain him?"

Probably best you not touch him yet big guy. Ole Doc Doom always has a trick up his sleeves, and I'm not talking about pulling a quarter out of your ear...

Turning to Iron Man, the Latverian monarch says, "Doom...needs the aid...of no man!" SPIDER-SENSE Amazing Intuition FEAT roll (26 or higher needed): Xk1MpGYD1-100Wow! Since that Spider-Sense roll is totally rockin' with a natural 100, I'm going to allow all characters who specified they were being wary of Doctor Doom to be alerted that he's going to attack! This includes not only Spider-Man, but also Iron Man who kept his repulsor rays at the ready to blast Doom if the treacherous villain made any aggressive moves, Human Torch who who stated he would hold off on attacking, but be ready in case the man in the iron mask tries anything, and even Colossus who said "I do not trust him". The rest of the heroes can post comments like "Look out--! He's going to--" or something along those lines, but can not take an action until after Doom makes his move.
Elsewhere, Magneto hovers above the plains, pondering his next move. Ahead of him, he sees that the layered geological formations are more pronounced and reddish-orange in color. Sensing danger, Spider-Man fired both of his web-shooters, hoping to catch Doom off-guard and wrap him up before he could harm anyone!

(OOC: Not really sure what I'm supposed to roll to see if I "hit" with the webbing)

The Human Torch
"I don't need much of an excuse to cook you in that tin can Doom!" yelled the Human Torch
He levelled an arm and blasted Dr Doom, giving it his all. He knew from experience just how tough Dr Doom was and doubted he'd be able to put the man down, but in his weakened state hoped to be able to force Doom to surrender.
There was always a first time for everything.
ACTIONS
Blast Doom, Unearthly (100) Fire Projection with RM30 Agility at Dr Doom
You doing the rolling or should we?

Players may roll using the proboards "Insert Die" option, but if you forget or aren't sure if a roll is required, I'll use it to speed the game along. Spider-Man's WEB-SHOOTERS are an Ensnaring Missile Weapon. An attack is an Agility FEAT. With his AMAZING Agility, Spider-Man only needs a 26 or higher to hit. An ensnaring attack causes no damage, but the ensnared character can try to break free only if his Strength rank equals or exceeds the material rank. The webbing has Incredible (40) material strength in the round it is fired, and hardens to Monstrous (75) strength the round following. Spider-Man's Roll: V42QyP5K1-100The Human Torch needs a 36 or better to hit Doom. Human Torch's Roll: 1-100Spider-Man webs Dr. Doom, but the Human torch misses by a longshot. (It's probably Spider-Man's fault that the Torch missed, right Johnny?) "You will rue this moment!" swears Doom, as he attempts to break free using his AMAZING force beams instead of his REMARKABLE Strength. I also opt for Doctor Doom to spend some of his 140 Karma on this roll. Doctor Doom's roll (with Karma): 1-100Doom only needed a 26 to break free, so the 38 would have been enough, however he must spend at least 10 Karma anyway for a 48 total result. He now has only 130 Karma left. "You, the others, the Beyonder...and the universe!" Doctor Doom then turns and flies away at Excellent speed, promising "Soon, all will grovel at my feet!"Name | F | A | S | E | R | I | P | Health | Karma | Powers | Colossus | Good | Good | Mons | Amaz | Typi | Typi | Exce | 145 | 32 | Body Armor | Hulk | Rema | Good | Unea | Mons | Rema | Good | Typi | 215 | 24 | Body Armor, Leaping, Adrenaline Surge | Human Torch | Good | Exce | Good | Exce | Good | Good | Typi | 60 | 26 | Fire Control, Flight, Body Armor | Iron Man | Exce | Exce | Incr | Mons | Good | Exce | Typi | 155 | 36 | Body Armor, Repulsors, Flight | Magneto | Good | Rema | Good | Mons | Incr | Good | Amaz | 125 | 186 | Magnetic and Energy Control | Spider-Man | Rema | Amaz | Incr | Incr | Exce | Amaz | Incr | 160 | 110 | Spider Sense, Web Shooters, Wall Crawling | Wolverine | Incr | Rema | Good | Rema | Typi | Mons | Incr | 110 | 121 | Healing, Claws, Senses |

As soon as he saw Spider-Man taking quick action against Doom, Iron Man followed the wall-crawler's example and opened fire with his repulsor rays! Whether Doom was injured or not after his recent ordeals, Rhodey knew they could not afford to take him lightly, especially not under the circumstances the Beyonder had forced them all into. They needed to make sure that Doctor Doom was neutralised, so they could find out exactly where he had managed to get that ship from... and if there was any chance that other technology had been provided which could perhaps get them home!
(Iron Man will try to shoot Doom with his REPULSORS for Amazing (50) damage.)

Iron Man fires at the Doom, just as he turns to flee! He needs a 41 to hit.
Iron Man's roll: zXh0l56p1-100
Was that miss also Spider-Man's fault?
Note: Since the Iron Man post came in just as I was posting for Doctor Doom, the chance to hit Doom was normal. However, Doctor doom is now 5 areas away, so any attempt to hit him from this distance will suffer a -5 column shift. If this was applied to Iron Man's atempt, he would have needed a 66 to hit instead of just a 41. (A 6 is still a miss though.) 1-100

Wolverine was furious with the seemingly half hearted attempts of Iron man and The Human Torch but he was even more furious with himself for just standing idly by.
"Get ya heads in the game" he shouted out for them to hear but unknown to everyone else he also was mostly refering to himself.
Wolverine kept his senses on alert for anything else that might be dangerous.

The Human Torch
"Spidey! Damn! Get your webs out of the way, webs!"
Storm turns to Wolverine "Can it, Dogbreath! I still don't know that you're any better than Doom! Besides that, the shape Dr Doom is in, it'll be a while before he comes back to menace anyone. We have bigger problems to sort out till then."
Still in the air, the Human Torch flies up and starts to look about for somewhere they can call home. Sleeping out in the open with those lunatic villains waiting to pounce at any time didn't sound like much of a plan.
ACTIONS
Intuition check to find somewhere to make camp and sort things out.

Spider-Man took a moment to let his adrenaline settle. For once, he didn't bother with a snarky comment... it felt like tensions were too high already, and he was concerned that given the right (wrong?) provocation, things just might snap. There were too many ingredients in this stew. Instead, he checked the fluid levels in his web-shooters.
I don't mean to put a damper on the festive occasion, but it just occurred to me that if we're going to be here a while, we need a base of operations. Maybe some place with a lab for Reed... He didn't say anything about it, but he was concerned about finding a lab for himself to mix up more web fluid as well.
