Captain Britain
"The Avengers will only fire to get you to surrender. That's what we want!" he shouts into the airlock intercom. "Get them on board, let them see who we are dealing with, and that will solve this whole problem and show that the Kree and Human Races are NOT enemies!"
"It's going to take a leap of faith. Show the Human race that the Kree are more noble than the Skrull, who will do anything to stoke up a war and stand ready to take the spoils! By firing on the Avengers, you are playing into the Skrulls' hands! Tell them Captain Britain is on board, he tells Nick Fury to remember the case we worked on in London with STRIKE, and ... you should also know... Captain Marvel is onboard that vessel, most likely."
With that he turned, waited for the airlock to cycle, and flew at the Skrull determined that the battle would end here and now... no matter who won!

Captain Britain is exiting outside the side of the mother ship this time, so the airlock opens into empty space. He must then fly around to the front and find a way to enter the command center. Along the way, the Quinjet fires on him! Quinjet: 9QT|kSpC1-100The Quinjet misses and Captain Britain now must pass by the mothership's turrets before he can reach the outside of the command center. fortunately, the Kree do not fire as he flies past. But now he must enter the command craft somehow if he wants to do battle with the skrull inside. Captain Britain'How do I get myself into these messes?' wonders the man behind the mask as he relies on his forcefield and lungful of air to sustain him. Moving to the side of the command centre, he figures to break one of the windows at the front of the vessel and enter that way. Whilst the Skrull would then be struggling to stay inside the command centre, he would look for some means of sealing a hull breach then proceed to beat the stuffing out of the little green man. Well, that was the plan at any rate. Name | F | A | S | E | R | I | P | Health | Karma | Powers | Captain Britain | Rema | Rema | Incr | Rema | Exce | Rema | Exce | 19/130 | 7 | Flight, Force Field |

Strength FEAT to break into the Command Centre: Roll = 70 KRAK!Captain Britain's fist cracks against the bulkhead of the Super-Skrull's Command Centre, but even the window is made of sterner stuff. This is a Kree military vessel designed to counter space blasters. It holds up just fine under Captain Britain's onslaught. Fortunately, the Kree helmet Captain Britain wears provided him with an oxygen supply, so he need not hold his breath. From the window, Brian can see the Super-Skrull inside bracing the view port by generating his own force field. The Quinjet fires on the mother-ship: tnEemy5s1d100The Kree ship's hull is breached and fires back!: 1d100...missing the Quinjet. Britain then finds himself moving away from the mother-ship as the Command Center he's perched on sputters forward. The quinjet's blast took out the mother-ship's tractor beam controls!!! Captain Britain
'This gets better' muttered CB from within the helmet. 'Well, don't think you'll get away that easy mate!'
He gripped to the outside of the ship and looked for something... anything... that he could take hold of and tear at/break/damage to disable the street!
Inside the helmet he shouts "Incoming Avengers Quinjet! Cease fire! Cease fire I say! Your enemy is on the smaller craft exiting from the Kree vessel! I am Captain Britain! Nick Fury will vouch for me! If you can, disable the command module... hopefully without killing me! Kree vessel! Try to do the same - stop this command module! Hopefully without killing me!" whilst activating a helmet comms system (if it has one).
ACTIONS
Try his best to damage/delay the command module with Skrull aboard, convince the others to do the same.

Intuition FEAT: mvdvci3q1d100Captain Britain maintains hold on the Command Centre, but can't find a way inside. Captain Britain
Captain Britain heads back to the Kree mothership conceding that he has failed. Again. Perhaps an opportunity to redeem himself may present itself later, but for now he accepts space is not his natural domain, and as strange as it may seem, alien invasions are not his forte. He is, after all, just one man, with seemingly the rest of the superhero community and SHIELD proving themselves capable of incoherent thought.
Unless it just seems that way.
With a shake of the head he heads back to the mothership, intent on hailing the Avengers quinjet and getting the Kree to divert fire not towards the Avengers, but at the fleeing Skrull.

On his way back to the Kree Mothership, Captain Britain crosses paths with the Avenger's Captain Marvel in one of her visible energy forms. He can't hear her in the vacuum of space, but she doesn't look happy! NOTE: Captain Britain does NOT see the heads of other heroes floating around Captain Marvel. Captain Britain
Making every 'you can't understand me which is why I am shouting and gesticulating in a manner which would ordinarily make you assume I am an idiot of some kind' effort, Captain Britain points and gestures to Captain Marvel to catch and stop the fleeing Skrull in the command pod. He'd tried his best, but he was simply out of his league here. Give him Jim Jaspers and the Fury to sort out instead of making Nick Fury and the Avengers see sense!
ACTIONS
Use, what, Reason? Psyche? Intuition? To persuade via a series of hand signals for CM to disable the fleeing Skrull's vessel!

Captain Britain
Figuring that he needs to calm things down between Fury and the Kree, CB heads for the main body of the mothership and the airlock. Advising the Kree that they should let him - and the earthmen - on board, and not to open fire on anyone, he hopes that the Kree don't have a change of heart. This was a mess, but he hoped he could persuade Fury to stand down and listen, then go after the fleeing Skrull.

Nick Fury and his Agents of SHIELD were about to engage the Kree Intelligence Special Squad (K.I.S.S.) in what might have been the greatest epic space spy battle of all time, when Captain Britain blunders into the middle and tries to arbitrate the thing. [OOC: Disappointing the fanboys.]"What the heck are ya doin' Britain?!?" Nick Fury shouts when the Captain comes between him and his targets. "Who's blamin' side are you on?" Fortunately, Fury has a long history with SHIELD/HYDRA/SHIELD double-triple-quadruple undercover agents, the only reason he doesn't just order his men and one woman to open fire at the walking flying British flag man. Captain Britain
"Before you fire a shot at the Kree, consider this Fury!" shouts Captain Britain over the communicator. "You're being played! We all are! There!" he points to the receding form of the command module. "A Skrull agent, Fury! He's been setting the Kree against the Human Race, and the Skrull stand to gain by defeating both of the unwitting dupes! Does that sit well with you, Yank? You like being played for a sap?"
Captain Britain was (rightly) angry, but figured he'd play to Furys' old school ego as best he could. This thing was a mess. He would have to break up any fight by using his own body as a shield.
"Don't fire!" implored CB to both the Kree and the Earth Agents. "Get that ship, THEN decide what you really want to do! Trust me, you'll be wanting to save - and vent - your 'Fury' on it's occupant once you hear his story!"
He paused for a second, looked at the Colonel and added "Uh, pardon the pun, old chap."
