Chapter 6:THE CHAMPION OF CHAOS!Kree #2 hands Kree #4 back his blaster before operating the lock on the Command Centre door. Using a metallic card, the KISS soldiers lead Captain Britain from the Kree Barracks through a pair of air locks and into the front of the Kree mothership. The trio surprise Kay-tell, who is sitting at a Control Console at the front of the vessel, monitoring the Superheroes' mission to the Kree home world. Captain Britain took to the air (as much as space allowed) with force field up to try and impress his target/give the Kree warriors behind him room to use their weapons if required."Kay-Tell! Stop whatever you are doing! You have some questions to answer! What do you and the loathsome Skrull have in common? Spit it out, or I'll beat it out of you!" shouted the Captain. He hoped to elicit a response with the calculated insult in case Kay-Tell was connected to the Skrull in some way. ACTIONSIf Kay-Tell attacks anyone, CB will interpose himself to protect the Kree warriors. If the fellow proves reluctant to speak to the group, he'll swoop down to grapple/disarm the guy and go from there. "That's all I needed to know" snarls Captain Britain as he did his best bull in a china shop, toss any thought of tactics out the window and flew at the spy!ACTIONS Move to him (fly) and throw a hook, so that any possible slam result doesn't smash the Skrull into the control panel of the ship, but into one of the side walls of the room. And avoiding the woman, obviously
Use karma, cause, y'know. Dice If I get a green, step up to yellow, yellow step up to red. White obviously, to green. Maybe I should say 'Karma:Step' or 'Karma:15' or whatever to specify how much to use to avoid the to/fro question of how much.

Or have you weapons to take him down? My own are... lacking" he says, frowning beneath the mask. ACTIONSGet out of the way, over towards the Kree. If attacked take defensive action (block against stretched fist, dodge a fire blast etc) Ask if there is a way to drop the Skrull, if not, flush him. OOC I'd mostly forgotten about the whole 'if you can't beat Body Armour you're screwed' thing with Marvel. It's one of the main criticisms I had way back when, which DC Heroes 'fixed' when it came out. Same with dodging. OOC: Captain Briatin's punch hurt him but because his Strength is less than Commander Chrell's Endurance, he could not get a Slam or a Stun. The actual adventure only gives Captain Britain Remarkable 30 Strength though, which could not hurt the Super Skrull. I balked at this as well. Let's see if Brian can find another way to win."If you can get Chrell into the airlock," Kree #2 surmises, "and if we can get to the controls behind him, then maybe we can blow the skrull into the vacuum of space.""What a fine plan, but it will be the fool Kree who will be ejected into space!" boasts the Super Skrull. Captain Britain whirls "Get out of there!" he yells, and flys through the air at the Super Skrull...Only to swerve at the last moment and attack the window of the control room instead, hoping to smash it and dive aside! ACTIONSThis could either go ok, or horribly, badly, terribly wrong. Fly at the Skrull, weave to the side and land a kick against the window, hoping to smash it and dive to the side/hang onto something. If the spy is expecting a hit, maybe he won't expect sudden hard vacuum! It is impossible to hear his skrullian curses over the sound of life support system alarms and of the air rushing out into the void! Desperate, Captain Britain flies over to the chair and pulls a foot back, kicking the chair and hoping to smash it/tear it from the floor to send it spinning towards the Skrull...And hopefully out into space! he will use his flight as necessary to fight the pull of the vacuum and his forcefield to protect him from the deadly cold. With a bit of luck the Skrull will find his flame powers impossible to use as well! ACTIONSKick the chair intending to smash/uproot it, and send chair and Skrull spinning out into the void! Use karma on the Strength Feat (or fighting if it's Fighting).

Captain Britain's Strength FEAT roll (using Karma): Ubvkqa351-100 + 10 Karma = 35 All the equipment in the ship is of Remarkable strength. Since Captain Britain has Incredible Strength, he has to succeed at a GREEN strength FEAT on the Incredible column. (31 or higher) Losing his anchor, the Super Skrull, tries to quickly stop himself from flying out of the ship, by stopping the hole with an invisible force field. Rolling on the Amazing column with no Karma, Commander Chrell needs a natural 26 or better. Force Field roll: 1-100The vacuum of space is stopped and the air in the Command Center calms. Chrell is down with the uprooted chair on top of him, but he is slowly getting up! The Kree have already heeded Captain Britain's earlier plea and have retreated through the air lock back toward the barracks. Captain BritainThe Captain rolls his eyes - this fellow was pulling more powers out than a magician with tricks at a show!Deciding that butting heads against this fellow will be as futile as going up against...The Hulk... the Captain turns and flies for the airlock, shouting for the Kree to "SEAL THE DOOR! GET THE AIR OUT OF THERE, OR... OR DO SOMETHING TO STOP THAT MONSTER!" He turns once on the other side of the door intent on trying to contain the Super Skrull. ACTIONS Move out of the control centre, seal or help seal the door. Hope the Kree have some means of decompressing the control section, for instance to quell a fire.
