Yeah, I should have been clearer. A BtVS/Angel game using Eden Studios' official BtVS RPG, I meant. XD
And yeah, Investigator/Champion pointspread makes more sense for... you know, not-unexperienced-kids. Which I may be gunning for depending on interest. I have several ideas, actually.

To people who might be remaining silent because they'd rather have a better idea of what sort of story we are talking about here, let it be known that I am very open to suggestions, even though I have several ideas of my own.
A few of them are as follows.
1) 'Somebody Else' the Vampire Slayer: A new Slayer (could be Kendra... or not) is born when Buffy 'dies' at the hands of the Master before being brought back through CPR by Xander, or when Kendra is killed, or when Faith is 'killed' by Buffy in season 3. The story revolves around this new Slayer and her own small band of companions, working as friends/rivals/colleagues to Buffy and her buddies, or not really meeting too much, as we please. Alternately, we could just forget about the main crew and just make up our own with no one else out there.
2) Historical Slayage: The adventures of a Slayer and her companions in the distant past, one era or another. Could be the stake-slinging Slayer of Apocalypse, Texas, or the pulp era Slayer facing vampires attempting to take control of the Mafia trying to take control of everything else. Or maybe Jeanne d'Arc was a Slayer, or perhaps a young European woman found out she had strange powers in Vampire infested Germany of the 40's during World War II, and gathers allies to try to defeat Hitler and his demon-empowered forces. Possibilities are multiple.
3) Post-apocalyptic Hell: Based on the suggestions in the Slayers Handbook, but not necessarily the same. Someone managed to open the Hellmouth (Sunnydale's or another), and the Buffster failed to close it. She was dragged inside by some horrific monster, and the scoobies put up a heroic fight in a desperate attempt to save the world from destruction... and failed. Several of them died, others might have escaped, others went missing, but the point is, they lost, and Apocalypse ensued. Fast forward a dozen years... demons rule the world, and the few remaining, tough-as-nails humans who still live do so in heavily fortified city-fortresses, fighting to live another day, and risking neck and soul to simply eat and drink and get ammo to fight to live another day. Mankind's future looks bleak... with only rumors of a new Slayer, and rumors of the now legendary Scoobies, possibly coming back to kick the demons out.
4) Alternate Buffying: What-ifs abound, and with them might exist alternate universes. We already seen on the show what might have been if Buffy Summers had never come to Sunnydale to stop the Master... we can imagine plenty of others. What if Willow had accepted to become a Vengeance Demon when D'Hoffryn offered it to her? What if Oz had mastered his werewolf form and remained with the group to become one of its most badass scoobies? What if Warren Mears had been brought back from the dark side before he committed the crime that got him killed? What if Spike was indeed the chosen vampire of the Shanshu prophecy? Etc, etc, etc. We can change what we want, and make it a game universe.
5) No Slayer: For one reason or another, there is no Slayer in the game. Maybe the Slayer line got extinguished for some reason... or more simply, maybe the Slayer simply isn't one of the PCs, and is either a NPC or... you know, elsewhere, doing other stuff. Somebody else is the main guy/gal. A vampire with a soul, a nice demon-hunting demon, some guy who cut off his hand to replace it with a chainsaw while holding a shotgun in the other. Alternately, there could be no main hero, and the whole team could be equals, uniting for some reason to fight evil (different colored costumes and giant robots may or may not be part of the equation).
6) Caaaan't we beee the official caaaast?: Sigh. I suppose we could do that too, lol. Either we make the cast at the beginning and I make my own version of it, or we continue where Season 7 left off, while thoroughly ignoring the Season 8 books because I hate them. Even though I own every single one of them. I'm gonna be mean however, and put Willow as off limits because she's just too friggin' powerful at that point.
7) One of your own ideas: Maybe. What is it?

8) Here's the Cast, pick your Member: A possibly interesting idea IMO; I could be making an entire cast, and the players could pick a character among them they are interested in playing. On the plus side, I have lots of good ideas for characters; this might be a new and interesting experience for you guys... and that's basically what Sarah Michelle Gellar, Allyson Hannigan, Nicholas Brendon, Anthony Stewart Head and company had to do in the actual series, minus the 'being allowed to pick', lol. I'd of course be open to minor modifications if you really like a certain characters buuuuut-. On the down side... While this may be fun, some people prefer to come up with their own character no matter what, so I will only go for this if everyone agrees with it.

I know, but 'who I want to play' is 'anyone who is interested to do so', so if that applies to you, well that's perfect.

By the way, having the books is really not necessary, in all honesty. The system is very simple to learn, and can easily be explained/used online with minimal difficulty, as long as we plan certain details in advance. So even if you don't own the system, please note your interest if it exists. We can easily guide you through it all.
EDIT: Also, I'll add another idea I had in the post where I listed my ideas (see above).
