Thanks. I'd love to run such a game a lot, too. I'm not a fan of GMing downright evil campaigns - though I do like playing in them, and even then I'm not fully evil, more like... a necessary evil, or a logical one - but I do love me some 'on the evil side before seeking redemption/leaving before needing it and becoming champions of good later. Such heroes are my favorite kind.

It's very Starkiller (Galen Marek) which I could totally get behind. Of course I've no idea what I'd play under those circumstances but I'll figure that out if/when the game background is decided upon.

My go-to Star Wars guy/girl for former evil turned hero is good old Darth Revan, who is one of my favorite characters of all time, but yeah, Marek fits the bill well too. ^_^

It's definitely a better game, but I can never figure out if it's a better story. That said, why would you not want to be able to shoot force lightning out of your fingertips

Well, obviously because you prefer to play pinball with your enemies. :-3
And I liked my Revan, evil turned good turned neutral, then had to slaughter a bunch because they started to see him as evil again ?
Seriously, what's so bad at having a humongous fleet at your command to peace police the universe.

Mine was... well, evil, turned amnesiac, turned even more evil. XD I was a HUGE asshole in that game. XD

Evil is relative. My Revan went straight back to being a holier than thou Jedi. That said I'd love it if they re-mastered the game so I could try it again and see what would happen now.

I mercilessly either corrupted or killed all of my friends and most trusted allies. Heck, if there was a puppy in the game, I would have kicked it. If there was a child, I would have stolen their lollipop. And I would not even eat it, I would just throw it in the sewers just so the kid doesn't get to eat it. I would steal the credits from a beggar's cup. I would scrape a chalkboard with my nails just because I can. Also, I would put more sand in Anakin Skywalker's room if he lived in the same time period.
I think that counts as 'definitive' evil. XD

Corruption is a matter of perspective, killing can be mercy, taking lollipops from children depends on the circumstances the child got the lollipop in the first place. If a beggar is gaining money through deception then taking the money is justice). Scraping your nails across a chalkboard depends on people being bothered by it. Putting sand in Anakin Skywalkers room is just funny. The only one I'm struggling with is the kicking of puppies... Anyone?
