...Began working on 'regular' equipment, as in non-weapons, non-armors stuff, in the Star Wars rules thread. Still quite a few things to go.

So as a little reminder to everyone of what's up; Hoots Rowlet has completed a CAD for Zordo the Hutt, a Hutt Mandalorian mercenary with high-quality Mandalorian armor, heavy weapons, his own Space Transport and his own pilot, a female Chiss former smuggler. Janus has pretty much completed his CAD for Sindor Krow, an engineering genius Zeison Sha warrior with a heavy past and a quest for revenge. RidiculousNinja is putting up the finishing touches on his CAD for Vice-Admiral Wray "The Grim" Dresden, a former TIE Fighter Ace Pilot turned Imperial Officer, and commanding officer of the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer, 'The Reaper', of Death Squadron. I have yet to see a CAD for Mephistel's Naijix, a Togruta Sith Apprenctice, although I have seen his picture. GPMC, I don't think I've yet seen a CAD yet, did I? For your aforementioned female Zabrak former Black Market/Underworld Contact turned Force Adept/Inquisition Agent. So, things are progressing nicely on that side. Still working on some important rules, namely languages, starships and other vehicles, as well as adding some more details here and there, but I have most of what is needed to at least begin the game as long as we don't start in a starship battle right off the bat, which I do not intend to. All the concepts and CADs are good so far, and I got no other submission at this point, so, so far, you guys are all in. We'll be able to begin once all CADs are completed and approved.

Got a CAD from Mephistel. Some corrections need to be made, but nothing major. Good job on your part as well. ^_^ I think everyone's CADs are pretty interesting. So I think we'll definitely go with the 50+15 limit and not change anything. It will leave room to grow and I promise, grow you will. GPMC, I would appreciate some feedback from you, and possibly a CAD, within the next 3 days. If not the CAD, at least the feedback. If I don't get news from you by then, and everyone else has completed their CADs, I will at least get the game started with them; you can always show up later if need be and you're still interested. Unless... someone else shows up with a CAD and gets it approved first! DUN DUN DUNNNNNN. Yeah, I'm putting a bit of pressure on you. There's nobody else at this point, though, so please try to hurry before someone else beats you to the prize. XD

By the way, Janus and Mephistel. As you two are Force users and now that your CADs are essentially completed, I'd like to discuss with you both about a little something, namely the inherent challenges to being Force users, as noted in the Use the Force action's description. Since you both have 3 ANs or more, yet not quite 6, you both qualify for the following challenge: -Force Connection (-1; should the Force User ever lose their connection to the Force for any reason or Duration, they will also suffer this Challenge value as a penalty to all Actions for the Duration, or until one Week per -1 has passed, whichever comes first, due to Force Users relying heavily on the Force for everything they do. If their connection to the Force ever returns, this Challenge will still apply in full force should they lose it again.) And then, there's the corruption. As you are both agents of the Dark Side, or the Empire at least, you might have gained some Dark Side Corruption, which would be represented by the following: -Corruption (-1 to -5; represents the character's degree of Dark Side corruption. Corruption can be reduced only via achieving redemption, GM's call, or being severed from one's connection with the Force for an extended period of time, namely 1 week per -1.) So, the question is... how corrupted would you two be? Corruption comes from the following: -Using the Dark Side (Either using Dark Side powers, or using the Force for evil reasons or due to dark emotions) -Allowing oneself to fall prey to dark emotions like anger, hatred, fear, etc. -Performing evil actions (Such as executing an unarmed and helpless foe, torturing someone, attacking without provocation, etc) -And worse still, combinations of them all; such as torturing someone helpless and unarmed with Dark Side powers while you're pissed off, lol. Knowing Corruption -1 is someone who has either merely begun to fall, or someone who uses the Dark Side only a little and only for good reasons, like Mace Windu... ...-3 is someone well on his way to falling to the Dark Side but is not yet quite lost to it, such as Anakin Skywalker for much of Episode III.... ...and -4 to -5 is downright a Darksider like Sith Lords and Dark Jedi... ...what level would you put yourselves at at the beginning of the game? ...It could arguably be any level, but it is likely at least -1 if only from being trained by Vader, who is not especially soft in his training methods. Though Meph's character downright has Force Lightning, so there's that. Your thoughts?

Depends on what you consider would cause corruption. My character learned to use a light sabre from Vader as he already had his force powers learned. He has yet to directly take a life using the force. That said he has some anger issues so it's only a matter of time.
Also, force connection. Is that an optional challenge, sort of like having a weak connection with the force?

Depends on what you consider would cause corruption. As noted above: -Using the Dark Side (Either using Dark Side powers, or using the Force for evil reasons or due to dark emotions) -Allowing oneself to fall prey to dark emotions like anger, hatred, fear, etc. -Performing evil actions (Such as executing an unarmed and helpless foe, torturing someone, attacking without provocation, etc) -And worse still, combinations of them all; such as torturing someone helpless and unarmed with Dark Side powers while you're pissed off, lol. ...It's not a case of 'if you do it once, you automatically gain a -1 in Corruption' matter, however. It depends on the intensity and frequency of the act, and how much it mattered to your character. For example, in your case... when you got involved in the Imperial attack against that Jedi Master and got him killed could very well have been worth a -1... or not. It depends on how much it mattered to him, how he was feeling at the time and what he did it for. For example, a person who gets a Jedi killed because she genuinely believes Jedi to be evil and genuinely thinks they are making the Galaxy better through their actions might not gain much corruption from it. If that same character, however, killed the Jedi because 'I HATE JEDI AND THEY MUST DIE', and they think it would be fun to see them get killed, it's another story entirely. In the same manner, even if the character did such an act selflessly and thinking they'll rid the Galaxy of a single Jedi, they will gain corruption if they embark on a quest to track down and kill every single last one of them to 'purify the world', because that is definitely not the will of the Force. Indeed, and anger, if strong enough, might very well have caused him -1 of corruption on its own, even without killing. Not mentioning his training with Vader who encouraged his anger for sure. If I spend days comfortably at home without even looking at anyone else, but I spend those days absolutely brewing hate for someone and wishing they were dead, I'm basically opening my heart to the Dark Side, and it might flow in. You're the one who knows how much his anger boiled within him, hence my question. No, it's very much the opposite in fact. The stronger you are in the Force, the higher the challenge, because Force users constantly use the Force to perceive their surroundings and interact with them. Upon losing their connection to it, it will feel essentially like becoming blind, deaf and mute all at once, according to Luke Skywalker when he was in the presence of Ysalamari. The more powerful in the Force one is, the higher this challenge becomes. Not only does it make sense in the lore, it's also a little 'equalizer' to make sure Force Users are not too ridiculously OP.

I think mine easily get a -3. He used his powers to kill, steal and hate the Jedi from the bottom of his heart!

Yea. I'm gonna be at least -1. He's on the dark path, I suspect he's gonna go full on dark side if given the appropriate nudge. He will be expecting cookies I would question that purging the Jedi from the Galaxy is not the will of the force. OK, maybe not every single one of them but the prophesy said that the chosen one would bring balance to the force. Only way of doing that is to wipe out all but two of the Jedi as there are only two Sith. (Sidious and Vader, Kenobi and Yoda). Which is exactly what happened. The force clearly engineered Anakin's fall to the dark side. Seems fairly 'will of the force-y ' to me. That said we've not seen the full story so meh.
