I find your lack of faith disturbing .... Yes force choke is firmly on my to learn list. Also I was thinking about how he would deal with Dathomir, and came to the conclusion that mass drivers (attaching droid based rockets to asteroidswith high metal contents and propelling them at the surface of the planet) was the only way forward so yea... Dark side here I come. Someone save me a seat and some popcorn please.  |

Indeed, there were quite a few more survivors of Order 66 and Vader's subsequent onslaught. Though I do agree with Janus' statement that maybe the Jedi being wiped out is not a bad thing, lol.
To be honest, I'm pretty sure Anakin's role as the Chosen One was always left as a major blur in the story. One could argue he brought balance to the Force when he wiped out the Order. Others could argue he brought balance when he eventually killed the Emperor and sacrificed himself. Others still might claim the Balance was restored through the efforts of his son and daughter who succeeded where he had failed. Others still could argue that... Anakin simply failed to bring Balance to the Force, and either wasn't the Chosen One at all... or simply did not accomplish his destiny.
I personally think that none sounds more convincing than the other. Heck, for all we know, 'bringing balance to the Force' was actually a combination of all that. However, what I like to believe is that the Force felt that both sides, Jedi and Sith, were extremists and fanatics of their own beliefs, and that both needed to be humbled by the other. A couple of Sith crumbled the whole Jedi Order at a very high level of power, and a tiny rebellion led by one Jedi destroyed the two Sith and their Empire... possibly causing both sides to re-think the way they do things, and thus becoming less fanatical and obsessed with their own views... and thus bringing more balance than before.
Whichever is true, I like to think of the Force as a just and beneficial energy, though neutral. I like to think it wants the best for the Galaxy, it just doesn't want either the Light or Dark sides to be too overpowered. And the reason why I said going on a quest to slaughter all Jedi is not evil because of who you're going after... but because you want to kill a bunch of people. And that's clearly Dark Sided. XD

...aside from Languages, which I'm still working on, but it's really no big deal. Everyone will be able to speak Basic, so even if we don't have all languages decided right at the beginning it's no big deal. I'll try to finish them up as soon as possible still.

Okay. So that means all we have to do is wait for GMPC's CAD on Monday. If he does indeed send it in then, I will work with him to complete it and get things started as soon as it's completed and approved. If not, I will get the game started and he can always join later. In the meantime, Janus? You are a staff member on the board and you always take care of cleaning dead boards, so I'm guessing you can create one? ...Think you could do me a favor? |
