(OOC: In all honesty, I have it up to here - here being somewhere considerably past the Earth's Exosphere - with Covid 19, so as far as this game is concerned, it does not happen at all because to hell with it, and because I don't feel like talking about it in my games on top of in reality, lol.)
"Hahaha. Well, we could very much go in the past and make sure that whatever we do does not impact you specifically, you know? Not every detail we may change will have an effect on your present, believe me. And if there were some incoming catastrophe which we would have to change or stop, the TARDIS would let us know. For now, it's all green lights, and peaceful, and possibilities. There will be plenty of opportunities for us to risk our necks for all of time and space later. What say you we go somewhere, sometime fun in the meantime? Isn't there any time period you would have wanted to experience? Would you like to see the rings of Saturn up close, or say, another planet, or star, waaaay further than that?" he asked enthusiastically.

"Ah, Shakespeare!" the Doctor exclaimed excitedly, walking around the TARDIS as he spoke. "Now we're talking. Mind you, the modern versions are quite interesting in their own way, but nothing beats the original plays. By the way, did you know I actually helped with writing Hamlet? ...I mean, it's a figure of speech, of course. You wouldn't know, since you didn't even know I existed at all an hour ago. And even if you did, you weren't around back then, so you wouldn't have known anyway. Ooooh, I know. How about I introduce you to the man?"

"I do, yes. The TARDIS can provide us with pretty much whatever we need. Though people rarely pay attention to such details", he said, shrugging. "I can get you some if you want. Though... how about we get moving first?" he suggested, moving to the controls, as he began pressing buttons, activating levers, and turning on and off switches, as the TARDIS began powering up and shaking a bit.

"Ah, yes, don't worry, this is perfectly norm-" he began.
...As the shaking began getting more and more intense and out of control, with alarms blaring and the lights flashing.
"...Okay, MAYBE that's not quite supposed to be shaking like that", the Doctor admitted, just as an explosion knocked them both unconscious.

When Andy regained consciousness, he was alone in the TARDIS, with several consoles around him smoking and shooting out sparks of electricity. Whatever had just happened, it seemed he had only suffered minor bruises and mild burns, but was otherwise unharmed. The Doctor was nowhere in sight, and the TARDIS' door was open.

OOC: Yes, my apologies. I'm working full time and going to school at once at the moment - on top of having just moved to another city - so I'm pretty much constantly exhausted lately. I'm going to work up the willpower to restart updating it, and hopefully kick myself in the arse to do so a lot more often from now on, too.
