Ben being ever the subtle one walked up to the front door, and gently but firmly banged on it with his fist. "Knock knock! Me and my pals here have some questions for yous."

Ben being ever the subtle one walked up to the front door, and gently but firmly banged on it with his fist. "Knock knock! Me and my pals here have some questions for yous." From the street, you only see one door. It appears to lead to the bakery, which is in a two story building. Is Thing banging on the door to the bakery?

(Nevermind then. My mistake.)
Ben casually opens the door, and walks through the bakery trying to find a stairway up to the store.

The Human Torch
"Way to be subtle big guy!" Johnny calls where he's leaning against a streetlamp checking his nails. He turns to Sue. "Hey sis, fancy a friendly bet? How about... I give it 1 minute before someone gets clobbered or the building falls down. Benjy only has two ways of approaching a situation. Clobber it or bury it under a collapsed building."
"Hey Reed, are we going for subtle or do you want me to keep an eye out from the air?" he asks.

Sue sighs at the notion of reducing the Bakery to rubble, preferring the subtle route. "Let's check to see who's home first before anyone smashes OR burns it to the ground. Doom'll probably be looking for a flaming target." With that, she turns invisible.
Are there any visible windows from the second floor to the street?

Mr. Fantastic stretches up to see into the upper windows.

The Thing finds a staircase that leads up to a door with a logo saying 'DECARA ELECTRONICS'. Sue and Reed find the same logo on a 2nd floor window. Reed stretches up to the top floor window and sees a chair, a desk, a phone and an answering machine. When Ben knocks and calls at the door, there is no answer.
The pastries Johnny can see through the bakery window look delicious.

"Oh... Guess no one's home. Well I guess I should come back later..." He says about to turn away.
"NAH!" Ben declares casually ripping the door off it's hinges, and stepping inside.

"Always the direct response eh Ben?"
Mr. Fantastic squirmed past his old friend into the building, looking for traps.

The Human Torch"I'll go check out the back, make sure some rat isn't sneaking off whilst big orange and obvious is making a lot of noise in the front." "FLAME ON!" he yells and soars over the building to check out the alleyway behind (from the air) and hover there to make sure no one scarpers. (OOC Marked on the map with a star)

The Thing and Mister Fantastic find that the top floor of the bakery is empty except for a phone and an answering machine. The Human Torch sees no one exit out back and the Invisible Girl spots no one exiting out the front either.

Relieved that the Electronics Store wasn't hiding a brutal ambush, Susan heads inside, relieved but uneasy. It's calm for now, but it's never this simple with Von Doom...
She decides to expand her invisibility over the walls and floor of the bakery, searching for stun beams, trap doors, or a bomb before proceeding upstairs.

"The hell? No one's here?" Ben asks. Casually he walks over to check the messages on the answering machine. Maybe one of them offers a clue into what's going on.

The Human Torch
"All quiet on the western front. On EVERY front." he mutters. "Ah well, best keep an eye out."
ACTIONS
Johnny gains enough height that he can land on the roof and regularly keeps an eye on the front and back of the building with a steady patrol on foot.
