OCC: Same here. Just got a new job and I've been focusing on that as of late- but I'm glad to be back in the swing of things.
Monica also waits by the side of the room, watching Vision step through the circles and observing the results before she chooses a radiation form.

Captain Marvel is baffled by the geometric patterns, but Starfox suspects that each circle might cover a hole in the wall.
Then suddenly, six seconds after the Vision enters the room, the door starts to slam shut!
[OOC: Since both Starfox and Captain Marvel are in the doorway, I'll allow you both one quick action to determine what side of the door you want to end up on. Inside the room or outside the room. I await your responses before sharing what else happens before Vision can react.]

Nips inside the room and hovers off the floor whilst calling out to Vision "Watch out for the circles on the wall! They hide holes, and no doubt something hostile awaits behind them!" ACTIONS
Float above the ground some ten/fifteen feet (if the ceiling allows) and nip inside the room, calling out to Vision. Hopefully Captain Marvel will follow - one for all and all for one, etc.

Upon hearing Starfox's warning, Captain Marvel flies in... and transforms her body into radio waves, in the hope that they'll be less vulnerable to whatever fiendish trap awaits within.

The door slams shut and locks behind Starfox and Captain Marvel. Then three tentacles whip out of slots near the Vision and try to grapple him!

Though he figured Vision didn't need telling, Starfox called out "Become Incorporeal my friend! Whilst the tentacles reach for you in vain we..." he said referring to himself and hopefully Captain Marvel "...Shall deal with them!" He turns to Captain Marvel and gives a grin. "Shall we, madam?" he gestures with a hand and takes to the air to fly over to the wall to grab a tentacle and wreck it! ACTIONS
Fly over to the tentacles that attack Vision and moved to where they came out of the wall. He will grab one and pull/yank/try to tear it out of the wall!

Starfox flies toward a tentacle that evades his grasp. Three more tentacles reach out from holes in the walls toward Eros, two of them getting a partial hold on the Eternal hero! (-4 CS on all FEATs)
The Vision evades two of the tentacles reaching for him, then when a third is about to reach the Vision's leg, Captain Marvel flies through it. Her radio frequency interference causes the electronic arm to operate poorly and it also misses the Vision.
OOC: I'm trying something new that I think might be fun for this encounter. If Captain Marvel continues attacking in radio frequency EMI form, a GREEN result on a hit will cause the electronic arm to have a -2 CS on FEATs until repaired, a YELLOW will cause -4 CS, and a RED will cause -6 CS. If a tentacle reaches Shift 0 then it is out of commission.
There are now six tentacles in the room. Three reaching for Vision and three focusing on the partially grappled Starfox.

"Ah..." muttered Starfox as the tentacle grapples him. "That did not... come out as planned!" He strains his powerful muscles to break free of the grapple. If that doesn't work he'll use his flight to pull on the tentacle to see how far it stretches from the wall! ACTIONS

Starfox struggles, but fails to free himself from the mechanical arms, however perhaps it is his attempt to fly away that prevents the arms from getting a better hold on him.
Vision, cuts down one tentacle with a solar beam from his forehead, as two more try to grapple his phased form. One wraps right around Vision and if he were not intangible it would have had him held for sure!
Captain Marvel flies over to aid Starfox, making no contact with any of the metal arms.
