Mini-post for Captain Marvel only

Captain Marvel's lips move, but no sound comes out. Oh well it was worth a shot. Unfortunately, in X-Ray form Captain Marvel is unable to vibrate the air around her enough to make an audible sound.
[Sorry, if you can find a comic from the 1980s where Captain Marvel speaks to someone while in the invisible/intangible X-Ray form, I will reconsider this limitation. I do want you to know I really liked the idea of CM pretending to be the Invisible Woman though.]

[OOC: talismanhex - No need to delete your post. In fact I'm going to delete mine. After reading through numerous Avengers comics on my 40 Years of the Avengers DVD-ROM I decided how I'd like to handle the invisible X-Ray form of Captain Marvel. In addition to spending 1 stone per panel to retain an energy form (her default being visible light) Captain Marvel must also spend extra stones for any Actions (powers) of a particular energy form. Therefore to become invisible X-Rays she needs to spend 2 stones of Energy to become invisible and spend an additional stone of energy every panel to maintain the invisibility. Unlike Energy form the extra stone per panel can not be paid for in advance, and therefore takes up one of the two maximum actions for the panel. Normally Captain Marvel chooses to retain X-Ray form as Action 1 and use Flight for Action 2. In this case Social Skills will be Action 2. Let's try it this was and see how it works out.]

"Yes! Yes!" Jim answers enthusiastically, glad to finally be able to answer something the heroes ask him. Then he appears to realize that this answer may mean more trouble for him.
"Look, I was given money to rent the truck." McGreed explains. "I don't know who gave it to me. It was just some guy in a trench coat that spoke with an oriental accent."

"I dropped the truck off at the Elliot building on Sunday afternoon!" Jim spits out. "I hadn't seen it since. I swear!"
His voice then turns to a whisper. "Please don't hurt me. I have a pet turtle and she'll have no one to feed her."
Captain Marvel's energy form starts to break up, causing her to begin to appear as a human shaped blur of static. Captain Marvel has been hurting since the Fixer shot her with his laser pistol this morning. Apparently, the injury hurt her more than she has let on. It's affecting her ability to retain this energy form for an extended length of time.

Jim doesn't know any more than what he's already said. Well, he does share that his turtle is about to be a mother, but that isn't the type of information that will help save New York City from Doctor Octopus. (At least you don't think it so.)

Captain Marvel makes it to a nearby alley before fully materializing into human form. Today has been a long day for Captain Marvel. It started when She-Hulk radioed her that the Scarlet Witch was still a little down and suggested that she might be of help cheering her up. [Don't believe me? See Avengers 234 Page 11 Panel 4] She enjoyed Jarvis's continental special breakfast and hearing Wanda tell the story of her fascinating life, but yesterday was a long day too. It's taken a toll on Monica as she's had to revert back to human form to rest. Perhaps she should try sticking to her visible light form most of the time instead of focussing on one particular energy for too long. That is, when she's not in her natural solid form.

Having gotten rid of McGreed, Captain Marvel joins the others before they all set off for the Elliot Building.
