Why dident they move? Why dident they run away? Captain America cursed at this monstrous thing and its creator... He was just like any other villain... He dident care who he hurt, as long as he got what he wanted... Among them, Thing was the only one who had the brute strength to stop such a large thing...
"THING!! Take that tincane down... We gotta stop it before it crushes those civilians...". Captain America then launches his own shield toward the robot, targeting the left knee hoping to force it down... If the robot makes enough noise, it might be able to snap the poor people back to reality... ==============================================

*Ben moved for the light pole near him, hoping he could pull enough wires from it to at least get the tin can down to their level.
He knew however that the droids tentacles would not let him get that close to it.
Ben pulled at the light pole, trying to pull as much wire from the ground as possible*

Energy: 10/18 -6 stones
6 stones to strength to pull the light pole and all its underground wires from the street.

Captain Marvel circles around the Octodroid, discovering that there are no radiowaves coming toward the robot, but there are signals broadcasting from it.
Captain America's shield slams against the back of the Octodroid's left knee. It falters for a moment, exposing what looks like an access hatch on the bottom of it's foot. Regaining balance, it then turns to face Captain America a second time. This time the Octodroid's tentacle-mounted wave-disruptor cannon doesn't miss.
Captain America is wounded, but at least the mechanical monstrosity does not destroy any more building or move any closer to the stalled car. Captain Marvel also feels the power of the robot's cannon, letting her know that if it were to hit her, it'll hurt... even in energy form!
All this excitement gives the Thing the distraction he needed to tear up the lamp post. The wires underneath aren't strong enough to hold the giant droid, but perhaps the lamp-post itself might be. It feels pliable enough for Ben Grimm to twist like a preztel, yet retain it's material strength. He just has to take care not to touch the lose wires. The Thing already had his daily allotment of high-voltage shocks for the day.

Captain Marvel's Health: 2/3 Captain Marvel's Energy: 2/9 Radio-waves for 2 more Panels

Even though the blast from the robot hurt like hell, Captain America was relived that it had changed its course... But how to stop this thing?? Then he spots a weird hatch under the things feet... Maybe one of them would be able to enter the robot from it?

Captain Marvel disprupts the signals emanating from the giant robot. There are remote TV camera's in the Octodroid's eyes. If Doctor Octopus was watching this final conflict via broadcast, he's now just seeing a screen full of snow.
[glow=yellow,2,300]FLASH![/glow] The Octodroid's eyes are not the only cameras around. There is a photographer atop the Gaston Building taking pictures for the Daily Bugle.
Captain America sees the Thing charge the robot, but in his weakened state, has a hard time bending the pole around the monster's legs while simultaneously dodging it's tentacles. The result is that the robot is able to use it's two human-like hands to grab the pole from the Thing and then throw it through the front window of Schweinenger's Furs. This stops the Octodroid's march, but also robs Captain America of any chance of attacking the bottom of the robot's foot.
The man in the stalled car now tries to restart his engine while the boy with him cries in terror!

k-k-k-k-k-k-tik-VRUUUUMMM! Captain Marvel gives the stalled car a jump-start, just in time.
The Octodroid demolishes the first floor of the Gaston Building and is now upon the intersection of 7th Avenue and Arthur St. So the motorists are safe, but the cameraman is now in danger as the rest of the building he's standing on top of starts to collapse!!!

Captain America advances toward the dillapidated Gaston Building, but not before the photographer on the roof looses his balance... as well as the foothold beneath him!
At 200 MPH a flash of electricty and human flesh zips toward the falling man. Captain Marvel reverts to normal just in time to catch the newspaper-man and slow his fall. Unfortunately, now the two bodies flail through the air, crash landing through the opaque skylight of Schweinger's Furs.
CRASH!
The Avenger and the man suffer cuts and bruises from the fall through the glass, but land relatively softly on a rack of mink coats. [OOC: Both suffer 2 red stones damage.]
Thing sees the Octodroid is now across Aurthur St., set to demolish Crystal's department store and/or the Executive Building across the street. Both Ben Grimm and Steve Rogers can also see an attack helicopter approaching.
