Lethargic or not, these people are dangerous to the Avenger he's trying to help, so he keeps on hammering away at them.

"Doctor Strange!" Scarlet Witch exclaimed, as she saw the opponents dropping around them.
"We can't waste a moment, others may have already gotten inside!" She said as she turned and ran to enter the mansion and group with the others.

[OOC: Scarlet Witch started this Panel with only 4 stones of Energy. As GM, I perform the Energy regeneration for the players. In the previous Panel, Scarlet used 8 of her 9 total stones of Energy.]
"Wanda, your arrival was most fortunate." Doctor Strange says following the Scarlet Witch. "Dracula has chosen to strike through these men."
When the pair reach the front door of the mansion they can see that almost everyone in the foyer is unconscious... everyone except for one man who battles on.
Hannibal King is wailing on one of the men who attacked him just a moment before, when he hears the voice of Doctor Strange. this time in person. (Not just in his head.)
"Hannibal! Stop!"
The Scarlet Witch sees Captain Marvel's body lying still in the foyer. From the claw marks and tears in her clothing, the newest Avengers looks to also have been a victim of this Hannibal person's rage.

Hannibal stopped. He didn't trust many people, especially where vampires were concerned, but he trusted Stephen Strange. You sure? I don't want them to hurt the Avenger here...

"Marvel!" Scarlet Witch exclaimed before turning her gaze immediately towards this 'hannibal' with a look that could kill.
However, he didn't seem to be attacking and at this moment they had larger concerns to be worried about, namely how long they would have till Dracula mounted a second assault, and with the defenses visibly disabled, they wouldn't be as able to withstand as they did this time.
"We need to get to the Darkhold..." She said, as she moved to try and lift Marvel up enough to pull out of harms way... She feared for her fellow Avenger, and wasn't about to leave her to be further attacked...

Doctor Strange casts red mystical energies toward the Avenger's compromised front entrance as he answers Hannibal. "Yes. With the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak conjured 'bout the door, and the Mists of Morpheus keeping the Darkholders and their entranced minions asleep, no further invasions are possible."
Doctor Strange next turns to address the Scarlet Witch. "This is my associate, Hannibal King. We've been searching for the cultists behind this affair for several days. But these explanations are costing us precious time."
Scarlet Witch realizes that they are right next to Jarvis's quarters. However, before she can drag the unconscious Avenger anywhere, or worry about where Jarvis might be, the Master of the Mystic Arts calls for her attention.
"I know Dracula would have a personal hand in the taking of the Darkhold. Yet he's conspicuous by his absence here. He was also not among the mob. Tell me, Scarlet Witch, is there any other way he could enter the mansion?"
As a long time Avenger, Wanda Maximoff does know of another way into the Avengers Mansion. The Submarine Pen!
Deep underground, three levels below the mansion's ground floor, lies a secret submarine pen. Hewn out of the bedrock years ago, it has been so little used that the Avengers have all but forgotten about it.
Will the Scarlet Witch entrust these two non-Avengers with classified information about this potential weak link in mansion security?

Hannibal King straightened his tie out and checked his overcoat for rips. His clothes were always getting destroyed. Not everybody had a fancy spandex suit like these heroes... and boy, did the Scarlet Witch and Captain Marvel look hot in theirs or what?. Some people paid for their own clothes...
Just like that sneaky old devil to throw a bunch of minions at the front door while he squeezes in the back...

Sorry, I haven't been including pictures of him because WildKnight has been having him say and do things a bit differently than what happens in Doctor Strange #60. (But that's expected, because this is our Daily Bugle adventure... not Marvel's.) For example, this scene never happened this way because our Hannibal chose to turn to mist. |

It was a difficult decision for the Scarlet one... however, she knew there was always the chance of another finding such an entrance, and she couldn't chance opening them to a suprise attack.
"There is the Avengers Submarine pen several floors below... He could possible enter from there." She said, as she tried to locate a first aid kit, or any other objects in which to treat Marvels wounds.

"I pray that the Darkhold is still undisturbed," Doctor Strange says solemly. "Because if it is not, we are already doomed."
"You both need to distract Dracula, while I do what I can to neutralize that dark tome." Doctor Strange then casts an illusion around both Hannibal and the Scarlet Witch, so that they both look and sound exactly like Doctor Strange himself!
"Keep Dracula away from the Darkhold at all costs, but be warry of engaging him in physical combat. His power is not to be underestimated! I mask you in my image, because the vampire lord mustn't suspect what I am doing."
"Hannibal, come with me to the elevator now. The Scarlet Witch can meet you in the submarine pen, after she ensures the safety of her fellow Avenger."
Fortunately, Wanda finds the first aid supplies she needs in Jarvis's medicine cabinet. Bless that man!

When the elevator stops at sub-basement level one, Doctor Strange exits. "Good luck Detective King... Or should I say, Doctor Strange?"

King looked slowly around the room, carefully taking in the details. He didn't want to be surprised. Distracting someone like Dracula was not going to be an easy task... staying away from him would also not be easy. Fast as Hannibal was, he suspected the Lord of all Vampires to be a step quicker.
Creeping around from cover to cover, he set out searching for Dracula.
