Okay... maybe I overdid the bluff. Either way, it was time to get down to it. He was too hurt to keep fighting much longer, and he had to delay Dracula as long as possible.

" Scarlet Witch? Guess I got KOed Jarvis, cause I am not sure why I am here. You know anything about what's going on? Where are all those head cases?" Captain Marvel gets out of bed and stretches her sore body," You say that someone breached the submarine pen? Are you alright? Did Wanda's friend, Doc Strange make it? Where's my hero Mr Mist?" Captain Marvel is unsure what to do next. She waits to get as much info as she can from Jarvis, before leaping into combat.

After the blazing lights, the power shuts down. Bringing the submarine pen into almost total darkness.
"Eh?" The vampire lord grunts. As Hannibal and Dracula charge at each other their other more primal senses take over. "That is not the scent of Dr. Strange! You are... Hannibal King!"
At that moment, even in the darkness the illusions of Dr. Strange over Hannibal and the still hidden Scarlet Witch begin to fade.
"Ha-ha-ha!" Drac laughs. "A very clever maneuver, King! You actually had me fooled for a moment! It is not often that Dracula is so deceived!"
Hannibal is quick, but Dracula proves to be quicker!
"Now I shall see to it that you regret this," Dracula then snaps Hannibal's neck like it was nothing! "In a very painful manner!"
King's body then drops to the floor and starts to vaporize!

[Hannibal could be KO-ed for 16 Panels, however death is not an option for the undead. So I thought you'd prefer this because you'll regenerate your broken neck even faster. Plus it's really cool to have your character go to 0 Health and still be alive... well undead at least.]

"The security cameras show that the intruders in the foyer are all asleep." Jarvis reports. "However, I am checking the surveillance equipment for bugs, madam. It appears Doctor Strange was in the Main Assembly Room, Elevator A and the Submarine Pen simultaneously just moments ago. As for your Mr. Mist, I know not of whom you speak."
"Now you need not worry about me, though I now sit in darkness," Jarvis advises. "There was an unexplained power flux in the sub-basement level two. The monitors have gone dark. Fortunately this portable communicator was available and within my reach. Shall I use it to broadcast an emergency alert to the other Avengers?"

Scarlet Witch gasps as she saw the sickening 'death' of King... However her mind was steeled in grim and unhappy duty as she realized she had to continue to prevent the vampire master from advancing.
Withdrawing back in the hallway, she held out her hands and began to focus on her surroundings... attempting to harness her own natural chaotic abilities to collapse the tunnel, hoping that it will slow Dracula down.

[OOC: Since Scarlet Witch is basically alone with Dracula right now, I'm posting for the result of both her prep last Panel, when Hannibal was killed, and her Hex casting for this Panel.]
"By Chthon!" Dracula exclaims. "Something is happening to the Darkhold! I feel its power lessening... seeping away!"
"No!" Three, four steps at a time, the vampire races up the stairs to the level above.
Then the Scarlet Witch gestures and Dracula looses his footing! The ground beneath his feet, defying possibility, begins to rumble and quake! Before him, double-thick security doors slam shut air-tight, blocking the falling vampire from reaching his goal!
"No!!"

Scarlet Witch sighed, hoping that the security doors would hold the fiend off long enough for Dr. Strange to do his job, begining to wonder if what she heard the vampire say indicated that Strange was at work, or if somethting else was happening to the book.
For now she chose to trust Strange... The door should hold Dracula at bay, but she felt it would be wiser to continue guarding it.

"That was no coincidence," Dracula correctly surmises.
After a moment's concentration, sensing his surroundings, the vampire lord leaps across the room, to land facing the Scarlet Witch!
(Note: The illusion Dr. Strange cast is no longer active.)
"Yes, I was told there was but one pitiful Avenger on monitor duty," Dracula smiles with triumph. "Now nothing, not even you, can stop me!"
"HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!"

"If I can't, then it won't be for lack of trying!" Scarlet Witch shouted out as she lunged at the vampire... She knew facing him head on would be futile, but she couldn't count on her hex spheres to aid her here, she wasn't sure she would be able to control the random effects enough to do any good.
Still, she knew she just had to stall him... if she could stall him for even one minute, then that would probably be the only minute Dr. Strange needed.

Damn! Captain Marvel is amazed at this perdicament. Isn't all this tech here state of the art? She concentrates and changes her form into X-Rays and flies down toward the Submarine Pens.

Before Scarlet Witch can move a muscle, Dracula rakes her throat with a powerful claw and then launches up to the top of the stairs.
This is when Captain Marvel enters the dark chamber from through the ceiling. The power now starts to turn back on, but even with the faint flashes of light, Monica Rambeau's energy form remains invisible.
