Having gathered himself, Hannibal moved over to the injured woman. Scarlet Witch. I might have known... the lights. Nicely done! Can you move? Doctor Strange may still need us.

Captain Marvel lands between Dracula and Strange. She becomes normal to show Dracula what he was dealing with and to put something between him and the sorcerer," That's what I'm talking about! I went heavy on the ultraviolet rays... just for you, Dracula!" Captain Marvel puts her hands out shielding the weakened Doctor Strange," I can change into other kinds of energy, too. All kinds too nasty for you. So don't try ANYTHING cute! THIS MAN IS UNDER AVENGERS PROTECTION!" She is referring to Doctor Strange of course.

Halfway up the metal cage stairway, the Scarlet Witch discovers that she Hexed herself! Wanda cast her mutant powers earlier to impede Dracula, but now it is she that is impeded, as the steps collapse under her own weight! Unaware of the Scarlet Avenger's plight, Dracula focuses on the two foes before him. "You will tell me what you've done with that tome!" the evil vampire shouts, throwing Doctor Strange through the energy form of Captain Marvel and across the room. "If I must rip that knowledge from your body... piece by piece!" Doctor Strange is too physically drained from his encounter with the Darkhold to fight back. Fortunately, he is under Captain Marvel's protection! "I am no longer amused" Dracula replies. "The Darkhold may be denied me for now, but I still have more than enough power to end your wretched existences!" Hannibal King's Health: 1/5

Captain Marvel doesn't bat an eye. She puts her hands out and unleashes a blast of intense sunlight at the vampire. She hopes this keeps him back.

Wanda groaned as she landed in the pile of debris left by her own mis-cast hex. With little other options, she began to try and climb her way back up before anything else happened.

Hannibal King reacts in time to prevent the Scarlet Witch from being seriously injured by her fall from the collapsing staircase. With Wanda clear of the wreckage, the heroes must now find another way to the level above. It looks as if they'll have to take the elevator, ...unless Hannibal can sprout wings and fly! Count Dracula ducks under his cape to avoid the worst of Captain Marvel's radiation.
"I concede this minor skirmish to you, woman! But know you this," Vlad warns. I shall not rest until the Darkhold is in my grasp!"
"And on that day, there shall be a reckoning!" With that, Dracula is enveloped in a swirl of demonic light. In an instant, he is gone...
...leaving behind him naught but an acrid curl of smoke.

Even though Hannibal COULD fly, if he so chose, he was loathe to use his powers. Time to hoof it back to the elevator, I guess.

"Looks like it. I hope Dr. Strange is alright." Wanda says with concern as she made her way to the elevator to make her way up to where the Darkhold was kept, and where Strange was supposed to be working.

"As I feared, the inner circle of Dracula's Darkholder cult is still at large. They had spirited him away with a spell of mystic transport." Doctor Strange says standing up. "We have not been formally introduced yet, have we? I am Dr. Stephen Strange."
As Captain Marvel and the Sorcerer Supreme get acquainted, Hannibal King and Wanda Maximoff take the now functioning elevator up to meet them in the Avengers' Main Assembly Room. Hannibal King and the Scarlet Witch notice that Dracula is gone, but now there is what looks like a living mummy with Dr. Strange! Wait, no, that's just Captain Marvel still wearing the bandages Wanda used to wrap her wounds.
Just as the two enter from downstairs, Captain Marvel's wrist communicator sounds. It's Jarvis.
"Please excuse this interruption, madam." Jarvis says in polite apology to Captain Marvel via her mini-viewscreen. "The police have arrived to haul away the sleeping remnants of the army on the front lawn and in the foyer. Do I have your permission to permit them onto the premises?"
