(OOC: I know Starfox resented Captain Marvel during a while because she wore roughly the same name than that of his late friend, Mar-Vell, before he saw that Captain Marvel was a worthy ally and also worthy of wielding that name. Are we there yet?) When Starfox first met the new Captain Marvel, he was a bit put off to hear her called Captain Marvel. At this time he would still be a bit 'put off' by her, but that's not as bad as resenting her. Please allow the player of Captain Marvel to first do something very courageous before having having him come to the conclusion that he can think of no finer tribute to his old friend Mar-Vell, than to see his named carried on by one so courageous. This is what occurred in Avengers issue 250 and we are now on issue 236. By the way, I just received my Avengers issue 237 I ordered in the mail today. I finished reading it and am now even more excited to play it out with y'all as the heroes! |

-I'm surprised. I didn't know these guys could actually talk. Or were smart enough to do so, actually.
Standing there, in front of the dome, he waits in case something goes bad and he must defend it again, though that seems unlikely.

The lava men mistook Captain Marvel for the divine Lady-of-Light of their legends, but this is not the only misunderstanding that is revealed. "Our village, deep beneath the earth, knew peace--until the surface men bored into our midst with their machines," what appears to be the leader of these subterranean molten men explains. "We could not allow this attack to go unanswered. We only used our powers to stop the invasion." Before today Spider-Man didn't believe in Lava Men, but after today he does. He really, truly does. Starfox stood there, watching the situation with a perplexed look. Those lavamen didn't seem so bright, both for mistaking the first person dressed in white and having light powers for some kind of holy maiden, and also for almost causing a nuclear explosion near the very home they are supposedly trying to protect. He was surprised that there were still primitive beings on such a planet.
-Hum... I know I am but a novice member, but... is it under our authority to shut down mining operations in the area? I mean, it does seem to be the best solution, but... do we have the right to make that choice? I am unfamiliar with those kinds of situations...
