Spider-man's curiosity was tingling. So that's the Quinjet, eh? He zipped out a webline to the jet as it passed overhead, then stuck to the side of it. Now this is what I like to call, hailing a taxi! Beats the old yellow cab, that's for sure.
===============
H 4/4 E 12/12
Action 1: 3 stones in web-slinging plus 6 stone modifer from webshooters to attempt to attach a webline to the Quinjet. Action 2: 4 stones in wall-crawling to stick to the side of the speeding jet.

Moments later, the Quinjet is high over the Project's Mt. Athena installation. Braking to subsonic speed, the She-Hulk switches on the craft's vertical thrust deflectors, lowering the Quinjet gently onto a landing pad below. Even as its engines whine to a halt, a massive hydraulic platform lowers the quinjet into the heart of the Pegasus Project. As the Avengers deplane, armed guards rush forward in a panic. One of them cries out, "Captain America! There's a foreign object on the side of your ship!" Captain America's Health: 4/4 Captain America's Energy: 12/12
She-Hulk's Health: 5/5 She Hulk's Energy: 15/15
Spider-Man's Health: 4/4 Spider-Man's Energy: 5/12[OOC: It was a rough flight even though a cocoon made of webbing protected him from the elements. No Energy regeneration.] Starfox's Health: 4/4 Starfox's Energy: 12/12

Foreign object... She-Hulk cracks a smile.
"My, he's a persistent little guy, isn't he?"

"I object to that characterization," quipped Spider-man. "I happen to be a native object who speaks perfectly fine English." Just to be on the safe side, Spidey prepared to shoot forth a webshield to protect himself in case one of the guards had an itchy trigger finger.

Spider-Man's Health: 4/4 Spider-Man's Energy: 5/12
Action 1. 1 stone in ranged combat + 6 stones webshooter modifier for 7 stones all shifted to defense.
Spider-Man's Health: 4/4 Spider-Man's Energy: 4/12 Defense 10 (RD 3 + RC 7)

Cap clambered out of the QuinJet, ready for action... only to see that it was just Spider-Man. Real clever son. Didn't we ask you to stay home?

"Home is where the heart is," quipped the every-ready Spider-man, tapping his own chest lightly for emphasis. "This place is pretty... mysterious though. What is all this?"

Spider-Man just violated security at a federal installation, but from the intensity of the buzz he's getting, his spider-sense is warning him of something a lot more dangerous than the lecture Cap's going to give him.
Spider-Man can reallocate the 1 stone that was placed in Ranged Combat and then shifted to Defense, if he wants to.

Star Fox turned his attention from the stowaway Spidey to the armed guards:
-Aside from that, if I may ask, what's the situation, gentlemen?
He was worried that the panic these armed guards expressed was maybe due not only to Spider-Man's presence, and he was expecting trouble soon, considering the urgency of the distress call. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Start H: 4/4 E: 12/12
2 into Psychiatry to determine wether they are only panicked by Spider-Man's presence;
4 stones into Close Combat shifted to defense just in case.
End E: 6/12 Defense: 6 (2 Toughness, 4 actions)

Cap was, indeed, about to launch into a lecture. He wasn't sure which one he should do first, though. The safety lecture about riding on the outside of aircraft? The lecture about endangering Avengers by riding on the outside of aircraft that they are inside? The rules lecture about how rules exist for a reason?

As if to answer Starfox's question... Fortunately, the violent tremor is a brief one. Captain America's Health: 4/4 Captain America's Energy: 12/12
She-Hulk's Health: 5/5 She Hulk's Energy: 9/15
[Energy loss from the earthquake.]
Spider-Man's Health: 4/4 Spider-Man's Energy: 4/12
Starfox's Health: 4/4 Starfox's Energy: 4/12
[Energy loss from the earthquake.] OOC: No Energy gain this panel and characters lose 6 Energy minus Reflexive Dodge, Acrobatics and Action stones shifted to Defense. Don't bother looking this rule up. It's just what I think makes sense in this one particular case.

Starfox manages to retain his balance, although with difficulty. -Whoa... now that's what I call an earthquake... everyone's okay?Wondering wether that was natural or not, Eros gives a worried look at the soldiers: -Say, are 'quakes frequent in this area? Or... was it something else?-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Start H: 4/4 E: 4/12 Nothin' but re-energizing. End E: 4/12 Defense: 2 (Toughness)

She-Hulk quickly braces herself, looking around for the source of the tremors, if any. "Looks like Webhead'll be getting some on-site training."

Cap righted himself and regained his dignity, then nodded ascent with She-Hulk. Now was certainly no time to try to send Spidey home. Since Starfox had already asked the obvious question, he merely listened. ***************************************************** H: 4 E: 9 or 12 (I'm not certain if I was supposed to subtract Acrobatics automstically, in which case I'm full, or if you meant Acrobatics that had been put into Defense, in which case I'm at 9)
Action 1: 4 Stones into Acrobatics... just in case theres another Tremor while he listens.
