Just before Rogue punches him through the ceiling, Wolverine can tell that Mentallo is still alive. Whether or not that's a good thing remains to be seen, however.
"If you wanna help," Fixer answers Ariel. "Tell yer metal boyfriend to quit breathin' down my neck. It's foggin' up my glasses."
Kitty sees that the Fixer is already almost finished making a device that will allow him (and only him) to pass through the force field.

As tehy burst through the ceiling, Wolverine lands on his feet, quickly analyzing where exactly he must cut to get exactly above Mentallo, thus allowing him to safely jump down.

As soon as he has located it, he plunges his adamantium claws through the floor (and former ceiling) and makes a circle large enough to jump through, making sure the part he's cutting doesn't fall on Mentallo. That done, he jumps down to reach the unconscious man.

Action 1: 1 stone into Flight to a Speed of 2 to fly down after Wolverine combined with 1 stone into Intelligence to do a quick aerial survey of the machine and surrounding area. She ends by hovering in the air halfway between Wolverine and the hole in the roof.

Colossus reacts to Rogue's punching through the ceiling, but really doesn't falter on his vigil. He does back up a little when Fixer complains and then shrugs at Ariel," What will this machine do?"

Kitty frowns at the tone that Fixer use and almost yells but stops as she thinks He's not my boyfreind... well he maybe soon. Before sighing and turns to Colossus blushing slightly. "Well it look like it it something to let him move the the force field,.... But I think it only enough to get him thru."

Wolverine and Rogue enter the zone blocked off from the others by a forcefield. Still, it looks like they'll have to destroy this machine to free Mentallo.
"That's right," Fixer says to Ariel, completing his kit-bashed device. "There is only room for one. I'm done with that smelly blue elf. His teleportation makes me want to puke."
Fixer then walks right through the force field before Colossus can react.

"BY THE WHITE WOLF!" Colossus shouts. The Fixer pulled a fast one on him. Colossus runs over to the field and punches it in frustration.

Action 1: I put 3 Stones into Close Combat( Boxing)+ 9 Stones from Strength to punch the Force Field.
Defense: 7 from Toughness, +4 over the prior from Energy Defense and +9 from Magical Defense.

(OOC: Toast, if you do manage to break that Force Field just by punching it, it'd be definetly one of the most hilarious moments I'd have witnessed on the board. All this trouble getting in, when Colossus simply had to... well, punch it. ;D)
Wolverine, his claws still out, looks at Fixer getting in the Field. He doubts the man's going to try anything right now, but he still think it's wise, well, giving him a friendly warning. Raising his claws at neck height (Fixer's, of course), he grunts at him:
-Listen to me, bub. You came to the mansion and attacked us, endangering Kitty and the others, because you saw a false tape that showed me killing your bud here. I took you down, but I didn't kill you. You can thank the professor for that.
Then we came here, risked our own own guts fighting damned 'bots looking like me and Mentallo to save the guy you accused me of killing, and now we're about to save him from whomever put him in there. We've been kind as hell to you considering what you did, an' I understand why you did it. Without any more proof, seeing what you did, I might have done the same thing if I was you. But the facts are, I ain't you, an' I ain't the killer, in fact your bud's not dead an' we're 'bout to save him. So, try anythin' stupid right now, an' I swear it'll take nothing short of divine judgment to keep me from ripping your guts out. Y'hear me? So stand there and let us do the job. Both you and your bud will be allowed to walk free if the professor say you can. As long as you follow those conditions.
That said, he speaks towards Rogue without looking away from Fixer:
-Say, Rogue, think you can take care of that piece of junk without hurting Mentallo, or do you prefer I do it?

2 stones into Close Combat (X-Men Multi-style)+3 from Adamanitum Claws, all shifted to defense, in case Fixer makes the wrong decision...
Also using my Animal senses of 7 to notice ahead of time any kind of aggressive reaction from Fixer to properly react to it; heart rate accelerating, a look of his eyes, sweat on his forehead, anything that could betray a potential attack.

Kitty tries to follow him thru and focus her phasing power "Hey I'm going in there too" Kitty huffs after Fixer before reaching out and slowly pushing against the force field.

"Fixer.. Can you tell if there is any way to safely remove Mentallo from the machine? Or if there is a way the others can shut it down without harming him? Wolverine, trust in his judgement for now. I fear he is the only one who may be able to understand how to shut the machine down." Storm said, as she watched. She was nervous, but wouldn't show it. No, shed trust Fixer to see the logic behind Logan's words, and trust Rogue, Wolverine, and Kitty to protect themselves if the worse happened.

With one mighty punch, Colossus breaks the force field!
If ever Rogue wondered if she might be as strong as Colossus, she now knows for sure. The answer is 'no'.
"You wouldn't dare," Fixer growls back at Wolverine. However, he otherwise just stands there and lets the X-Men do their jobs, just like the short feral guy with the pig-stickers asked him to. That's until Storm asks him a question.
"Mentallo can be freed easy, once the machine is destroyed." Fixer answers. "So tell this runt to git outta my face and work off his aggression on this giant contraption. Now that I know Wolverine's innocent of murder, he doesn't scare me any more than the pimply teenager or yer overgrown Smurf."

Logan's left arm's claws retracts, he catches Fixer by the collar and get his right hand's claws 'real' near to his left eye.
-I haven't killed Mentallo. Glad we both agree on that. But you might wanna remember that I've maimed many for much less than what you just said. An' you might wanna think twice 'bout what words get out of that big mouth of yours... or else... well, let's say you could have something in the eye. And I'm not talkin' about no freakin' dust, you got that, bub?!
He turns him towards Kitty, pressing his claws on his neck :
-Apologize to the lady. Now. You got ten seconds. 1... 2.... 3..... darn, suddenly I feel quite impatient. 8...

Kitty glares at Fixer and shakes a little bit with her anger walking over to point a finger in his face. "Pimply Pimply I'll have you know I have not one pimple on me, you you...." After the out burst Kitty face grows red and slowly counts to ten as Wolverine makes it suddenly to 8.

"Wolverine! Release him! We have proved your innocence, that is enough... Insults aside, we are still having to work with him. Collossus, could you do the honors?" Storm said, as she motioned to the machine... To concerned for Mentallo's safety to attempt to destroy the machine with a lightning bolt, thinking perhaps it was best left to Piotr, particularly as Wolverine seemed elsewise engaged.
