Colossus doesn't say anything, but decides to proceed. He isn't afraid of this man, but he didn't know what to say. He will stop if Storm commands it, but otherwise nothing will stop him.

"Yeah right. Lyin' bastard", thought Logan as he took a quick look at the machine. That thing was huge, and he was almost certain it was one of the Breeder Bombs Mentallo was speaking about. The building was an excellent cover for such a large thing, and the old man was obviously protecting something. He stayed silent, leaning against the wall a meter away from the window, listening to what was going on. The old man had told Storm and the others they wouldn't find what they were looking for inside, so if he was protecting it, like Logan suspected, he wouldn't want to let them in. If that's what happened, Wolverine would jump through the window and take the man down. But before that... he looked around nearby, trying to get his hand on a rock or bludgeoning object that could make a good thrown weapon...

Kitty starts walking toward the window the guy is in "Could you move please mister " Kitty asks as she get a few feet away from the window.

Rogue flys over to Storm when Kitty and Collosus move in. Those two should have no problems with a simple shot gun. "Team needs you down there Storm. I'll keep watch for surprises."

"Thank you for your understanding, Sir. We came looking around because we have evidence that our ... person we are searching for may have been around here. Have you noticed anything strange lately? Or unusual people appearing?" She asked slowly and calmly.

"Hey you! Stop! Halt! Git!" the honorable Augustus Hickman hollers as Piotr Rasputin approaches the door. It's locked. In the shadows, Wolverine picks up a nice-sized rock. Apparently, they don't call these hills The Rockies for nothin'. Augie doesn't notice because his eyes are on the teenage girl in a flashy Halloween costume who walks right up to him. "You can bat those doe-eyes all you want girl, but I ain't budgin'. What's mine is mine. Finders keepers." Augie c0cks his shotgun but doesn't fire. Then he turns his attention toward Storm. "Have I noticed anything strange lately? Well, yes. I've been trampin' through these hills for 50 years, an' in all that time I ain't never found anythin' like this huge, gleamin' piece of machinery here. Whatever this doohicky is, it'll sell nicely as scrap an' I'm not about to give it up. So y'all back off or my next shot won't just be a warnin'!!" As Augie puts Nightcrawler in his sights, Kitty can now also see the giant missile-looking thing inside the old barracks. Above, Rogue gets an aerial view of the reservation. Wolverine grabs the rock he's just found and throws it at Augie's shotgun, intending to disarm the man before he gets the chance (or the stupid idea) to use it.

Colossus, confident in his friend's abilities to take care of themselves simply opens the door. He wants to break lock and pretty much leave the door intact, but if it shatters, oh well.

Kitty sighed mentally then see the the missile like device. 'Guys I think we found it." Kitty takes a step back in case Auggie tries to turn the shotgun toward her. 'Mister Auggie sir that device is potential radioactive If you let me in I might be able to turn it off.

"Wha'?" Nightcrawler's teleportation confuses Augie. This gives Wolverine the chance he needs to disarm the Hickman. Our favorite prospector, miner and reclaimer of lost goods then spins around when Colossus breaks open the door and walks in.
Enough room was left between the machine and the walls to walk around the machine, and ladders lead up to the higher controls. Rogue and Nightcrawler can't see this layout from above but Ariel sees well enough inside before stepping back from the window.
"Radioactive?" Augie says with concern and foul breath. (It's a good thing Kitty stepped backward.)
