As Nightcrawler spies on the patrol, he notices the helicopter make a sudden turn, but not toward him. It's new target is Rogue, in the sky, carrying Storm!

Rogue was too winded to try anything fancy. She needed to just focus on not getting hit.

[OOC: Apparently Colossus has been hanging around Nightcrawler too long. "Ja" is "Yes" in German. "Da" is "Yes" in Russian.]
The Lockheed RS-150 Blackbird is the only surviving model of the Lockheed reconnaissance plane originally used by S.H.I.E.L.D.. This Blackbird was modified with Shi'ar equipment. These modifications include Vertical Take-off and Landing gear (VTOL) and a Shi'ar cloaking device. It carries a crew of three (pilot, co-pilot and flight engineer) and four passengers in safety cushions. More passengers can get inside, but only four passengers and the crew are protected in case of a crash.
Before Colossus can even load the remains of the deactivated Breeder Bomb on-board the Blackbird, Lockheed (the dragon, not the plane) indicates to Ariel, in his own dragon way, that he is hungry.
Wolverine's extraordinary sense of hearing then picks up on something, but it will require a moment's concentration to determine exactly what it is.

[OOC: It costs 2 stones in Flight just to carry Storm, but fortunately Ororo is allocated 2 Leadership stones to Rogue's Flight, so her 1 stone spent allows her to fly them both at up to 30 MPH.]
The helicopter can't turn around fast enough to get a clear shot at the flying X-Men. By the time it does spin around, Rogue has already shot past it, back toward the barracks.
"I am impressed," Storm says genuinely. "It seems we need not discover what would happen if you tried to steal my memories and powers after all."
Ororo surely means nothing by it, but the word "steal" still stings. It reminds Rogue that not so long ago she was a member of Mystique's Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, and had stolen much from one of the X-Men's closest friends, Carol Danvers.
"Now fly us to the other X-Men. We must leave this place before the Sentinels return!"

Kurt Wagner watches as Rogue outmaneuvers the helicopter. But then the chopper turns around and pursues the airborne X-Men. It gains speed, closing in on them. And then it launches a rocket!
[OOC: The helicopter, the rocket, Rogue and Storm are all more than 30' but less than 1 mile away from Nightcrawler.]

Storm felt that perhaps if they returned to the Blackbird, that there would be some way to either extricate herself from the neutralizing bands, or atleast keep herself from creating more danger to her teammates.
