The Amazing Spider-man decided to make a flashy entrance. "Yoohoo, it's your friendly neighborhood Spider-man! Anybody home?" He flips into the building and rises from a semi-crouch.

KLIK
Opening a window and climbing inside the Baxter Building, Spider-Man finds Reed Richards sprawled on the floor unconscious. He's wearing a new costume (see Fantastic Four #256) but it's definitely Mr. Fantastic!
Uh-oh! Here goes the wall-crawler's famous spider-sense! But there doesn't seem to be any danger...
PINNG SPINNG
Never doubt your instincts, webs! He forgot about the F.F.'s automatic defense systems! Now there are some kind of flying discs coming at him. And Spider-Man doesn't know what'll happen if these things hit!

"Son of a gun!", exclaims Spidey as his spider-senses go off. He leaps out of the way of one disc and tries to knock some other discs out of the air with his webbing. "Reed, you need to get some less deadly toys", he comments to the unconcsious Mr. Fantastic.

The noise wakes Mr. Fantastic and, much to his surprise, Spider-Man is inside the Baxter Building. But oh no! Computers will be studying Spider-Man's moves... programming threats... that he won't be able to stop!

"Got to get to the instruments... shut down security... before it's too late."
Reed is still feeling the effects of whatever Larry did to him. Doing his best with the little energy he has he tries to get in a position to shut down security.

Spider-man looks for a phone or intercom to call for medical help. "Reed has been hurt. Send medical help to the Baxter building, pronto!" Then he stood guard over Reed until medical help arrives. "I wonder who could have knocked out Reed in his own home?"

When Mr. Fantastic recovers, he has trouble thinking straight, but is still able to tell Spider-Man who it was that knocked him out. However, the saddest part is that if Reed peels away the web of violence and madness Larry has spun around himself, he can see that a lot of what the Every-Man is saying has it's basis in truth! There is great injustice in America and so many men who have been lost.

"It, it was Larry. My nephew. What was he doing outside the institute. He is not well."
Reed begins to recount the entire story to Spiderman in broken bits and pieces.
"He mentioned a doctor that said... It's so hard to remember. I think he must be the missing link in all this. We've got to help Larry Spiderman!"
Action #1 2 stones in social skills to give spiderman the rundown of what happened as best as I can. If you're interested vjcsmoke you can read the beginning of this thread.

Spider-man listens to Reed's story and sums it up. "So the cuckoo has jumped the cuckoo's nest has he?" Spider-man shakes his head. "Why don't you contact the doctor who authorized Larry's release? He might have an idea where Larry would go next." Spider-man looks around the lab for anything useful. "You have a tracking device around here we could use by any chance?"

Reed is still feeling the effects of that weird ray Every-Man zapped him with. Mr. Fantastic's thoughts seem to be rolling away from him, but he is able to tell Spider-Man that in the past, his nephew seemed to be able to absorb energy from those around him.
Based on this information, Spider-Man looks for an appropriate detection device, but instead finds the project that Richards was working on earlier that day. Reed was interrupted before he could correct a minor problem with the statis chamber. However, admiring the overall complexity of this technology, it seems to Petey that a Big-Brain like Reed could easily whip up some sort of gizmo to find this "nephew" of his and stop him before he hurts any more innocent people -- or himself!

"I don't know how... I should know but I just can't. What's wrong with me? This is so frustrating. It's like there's some sort of block. I can't think. What did that ray do to me?"
Reed's thoughts were garbled it seemed like he had called Larry's institute right before Everyman had struck him. If he could only remember the name of that institute at least that might give them a lead to go on.
"Spiderman, I can't remember how to build a tracker but I might be able to remember the name of the institute where they were holding him. If I can just concentrate."
Action #1 4 stones in intelligence to try to remember how to get a hold of Larry's Institute and tell Spiderman the phone number and where they are located.

There is agony in Mister Fantastic's voice. Terror in his eyes. Spider-Man has always looked upon Reed Richards as implacable; a rock of a man who never loses control. Thinking about Larry, Reed recalls what he said. He was going to make all men equal... and he meant it! Larry has robbed Mr. Fantastic of his genius! He's ordinary! Ordinary! [OOC: That's an Intelligence of 2 in game terms.] To see the leader of the Fantastic Four broken like this shakes the web-spinner to the core of his being. Reed still has the number to the institute. He even knows where it is, but first they have to find Every-Man. Get that ray device. Study it. But-- how? That's when Spider-Man discovers a technology capable of locating Larry! A police scanner! [OOC: Spider-Man and Mr. Fantastic witness the above scene from a 5 stone distance away. That's 100' for non-MURPG players.] Mister Fantastic's Health: 2/3 Mister Fantastic's Energy: 5/9 [Only spent 2 stones last Panel, because his Intelligence is now only 2. Not dumb, just average.]
