[/SIZE][/u] =================== (BRIEF)BIO/HISTORY:Immaculate Conception. The stuff of legends, portents, and prophesies. Cable has been the product of such twice now. At first, Scott was furious. His accusations were many regarding the loyalty of his girlfriend and the disgust he felt. When the abnormally rapid speed of development became apparent, Scott shifted from outrage to concern. Jean was at peace, having gleaned all she needed to know through her telepathic connection to the fetus. She knows it very much is her child, always was, and always will be. When the infant was born nine days later, Scott mellowed to a cool distrust. As the youth grew quickly into teen-hood (the age he was when he fled the future), the rapid-aging process abated. Memories of his previous life were retained, though they are not always the clearest nor very reliable (given that his very reality is gone, the very history upon which it was built is subject to question). He does remember though. He does still have the nightmares. Scorched Earth, Flaming Skies, Ruined Cities, Mountains of Corpses and Remains... This is the world Cable was born into. A world ravaged by every atrocity mankind has ever concieved and then some. Cable was born into the Askani. A Resistance Cell that openly opposed the reign of Apocalypse. He was heralded as a messiaonic savior, his birth reportedly immaculate and prophesied by his mother years prior. His mother died bringing him into the world, leaving his uncle Logan to raise him. And raise him he did. Cable was trained from the moment he could walk. Drilled daily in tactics, survival, and combat. When his mutagenic abilities finally manifested, he was everything the Askani had prayed for. On the eve of what Logan was calling the Final Battle, the Askani were betrayed from within. So thorough and methodical was the Sleeper Agent, that Cable alone survived (albeit barely, and struggling with a psychic virus). Surrounded by the bodies of loved ones, and looking into the cold blank eyes of his Surrogate-Father-Turned-War, Cable realized all was lost. There would be no defeating Apocalypse, he was too strong and his plans too far along. Utilizing his unrivaled psycho-kinetic abilities and latent connection to the Phoenix Force, Cable sent his mind backward in time, a feat so powerful that it required him (or rather, the Phoenix Force) to feed upon the timeline itself, collapsing Cable's original timeline completely as he traveled backward. Even the consumption of the Divergent Timeline proved insufficient to wholly manifest Cable in the past. The psychic backlash was devestating, and Cable's psyche barely survived by anchoring itself to the subconscious of his ancestor (Nathaniel Dayspring). Unable to assert control, or even establish communications, Cable was little more than a passenger. Until the day Jean Grey crossed Nathaniel's path. Within her, Cable sensed a resurgence of the Pheonix Force... and he reached out to it. [/SIZE][/u] =================== (BRIEF)BIO/HISTORY:Twas an Age of Darkness and Steel. Feudal Kingdoms dotted the land from shore to shore; Constant strife and battles waged in every corner. Mighty Warriors rose and fell with the sun itself it seemed, virulent sorcerers found no better fate as the years passed. In such an Age, even beings such as Mephisto were hesitant to take on contracts with such short lived creatures as humans. That's not to say he did not do so. Infentessimal lifespans aside, Mephisto saw one shining perk of such brokerages: Quick Turn Around. Humans would pay up, be it in life or in death. None could escape a well written contract (and such was the purview of Mephisto after all). Sadly, Mephisto found the turn around nearly too rapid. Ever the pragmatist, The Dark Prince saw the need for a Collector. An entity that could travel the globe on a whim, find those who owed (admittedly or not) and call them to terms... Only one such creature was fully capable of that which Mephisto desired, but he'd long ago stripped it of it's soul and imprisoned it within a stasis gem. The body however... the body was still saturated with Hellfuric Energies. Given a properly motivated soul to drive it... The first Ghost Rider, Meshtin Rhu, was born. In exchange for saving his wife's life, Meshtin abandoned his own body and life to act as spiritual-pilot for the demon-body known as Zarathos. For nearly twenty years, none would dare refuse Mephisto his due. None, save, the mad sorcerer Amon-Thoth. His power matched only by his hubris, Amon-Thoth deemed himself sufficiently powerful to forestall any attempts at collection upon his soul. Mephisto was not amused, and so sent his agent forth. Amon-Thoth was ready. The two battled fiercly, and in the end... Amon-Thoth saw but one chance for his own survival. He revealed his prisoner, Lillith. Meshtin's once wife. Then, the Sorcerer called out the name of Mephisto and made good his debt. Contract fulfilled, Meshtin was now being recalled. Unwilling to abandon Lillith to the Sorcerer, Meshtin resumed his battle. Thunder rolled, and Mephisto appeared. He revealed angrily that Meshtin had been manipulated into violating a minor clause in the contract... There, he was raised in a wholesome 'old-school, down-to-earth' mentality. From the first time he met one of the 'Ghosts' (a common moniker for the Rangers), Symeon knew in his heart that was what he was meant to do with his life. He strove to perfect himself both in body and mind. While he didn't stand out academically, Symeon did show a knack for linguistics (an uncommon gift for someone interested in such a profession, as most linguists are roped into political jobs). Being in peak physical condition, and of significant determination, he was able to sway the Acceptance Board to allow him into the Ranger Program. Eighteen weeks of metaphorical hell-training honed Symeon into the quintessential and highly decorated Ranger that he is today. One of the most respected men on the force, few (if any), would ever suspect him to be the bastard child of the notoriously powerful Senator Pennington. The decision to break into the old Customs Warehouse seemed like a perfectly good one at the time. Destitute and starving, Parker and his older cousin saw potential for gain; Agents of the King Pin were offering a lucrative Finders Fee if anyone could secure any worthwhile merchandise. Of all the things they expected they might find within, never would either of them had ever have guessed a Demon might be among them.
No. They'd expected something much more mundane. Something believeable. Dust laden shelves, Empty Crates, Old rat chewed ledgers, termite infested furniture, a hobo or three. Only in their wildest dreams would they stumble across items that might be fenced. Even the notion of something terrifyingly realistic like a mutant wasn't on the radar.
To say the pair were rendered inert with shock and horror would be an understatement.
The sound of gunfire broke the moment. Parker looked to his left, his cousin had drawn out a pistol and opened fire on the monstrosity. For such teremity, the boy was rewarded by having his arms and legs ripped free and tossed aside as trash.
Parker vividly recalls falling to his knees and vommiting. Through tear-blurred eyes he saw his gun had slid a few feet away, well beyond reach. Something in the back of his mind whispered that it was useless anyways. He looked up to find the demon regarding him calmly. Studying him. Parker somehow met the creatures eyes. Somehow, there he found a resolve; A courage. He rose to his feet again, and faced the demon proudly.
Only when the demon fell dead before him, did Parker notice the wounds.
As expected, Parker found nothing in his numb-minded search of the warehouse. Unwilling to leave empty handed, he did remove the demon's thick read hooded cloak and took it for his own. Odd fashion aside, it was thick and would undoubtedly keep him warm through the winter. It might not be food, or something with which to earn money... but it was something.
Upon donning the cloak, a voice whispered into his mind. It whispered a single word. A name. NISANTI.The Hood Rising...
Over the next week, the Cloak would whisper more than that. It told of it's origins, having been crafted by an Elder Being of vast power called Dormammu. It spoke of what it was capable of... and those capabilities were what inspired Parker more than anything.
Via his cloak, Parker was able to turn invisible at will. An amazing feat, that when coupled with his cunning mind and gifts of stealth, allowed him to manipulate his way through the lower dregs of NYC's criminal underworld. Within weeks he was able to form his own gang, months later, he was a nororious Crime Lord called 'The Hood' by colleagues and law enforcement agencies alike.
For his part, Parker reveled in his newfound wealth and prestige. It was nearly a year before boredome began to settle in, and he learned a new trick. Proximity with the Nisanti Cloak had gifted him in other ways. Latent senses within him were awoken, and he found himself able to sense the proximity of Magical Items and even creatures.
Such things became a new obsession. No dollar or resource was spared as he began to obsessively hunt down and collect such mystical artifacts. This invariably lead to numerous conflicts with owners and foreign governments alike... but at the end of each day, his collection (and thus his power base) continued to expand. As one might expect, a quickly rising reputation as the worlds preeminent Arcane Thief drew the attention of the Sorcerer Supreme. Trials and Offers...
It came to pass that oppertunities to lay hands upon magical artifacts came to conflict with the management of The Hood's syndicate. When forced to make such choices, more and more often he gave into his obsession. Such choices began to cost him the support of his minnions. Internal strife grew, and eventually, the Criminal Empire Parker had forged began to crumble around him.
As frustration mounted, Parker grew restless. When finally a coupe was raised, Parker opted to vanish and take his acquisition adventures abroad. He'd learned what he could from the various tomes he'd unearthed, and was more Adept than Novice by this point. Of the artifacts in his vault, most were overlarge to move or provided little use save sentimental value. So with naught but his mind, skill, and Nisanti Cloak, Parker moved through Europe as a man posessed.
Parker couldn't claim true surprise when most leads turned out to be dead ends. Competition for such secrets was far greater in the East, given a more open minded approach to supersition than the average American held.
Stories of War erupting in North America fell upon uncaring ears where Parker was concerned. It was the home of his past, and didn't seem to hold much bearing upon his future.
Finally, Parker heard rumors of an ancient repository hidden away in Tibet, and subsequently he spent every last penny in his posession to secure transportation.
The trek through the wilds to the hidden monastary was filled with peril of sorts to ensure only the worthy might find their way... and find his way Parker did. The Ancient One was no dabble or novice, and detected the intruders presense immediately. Recognizing tell-tale signature of the Nisanti Cloak it was a simple effort for the Sorcerer Supreme to locate Parker and confine him within Crimson Bands of Cyttorak.
For days Parker was held captive in a tiny cell, bereft of window or door. The room was furnished simple with a small cot and an old television set. Food appeared three times a day, magically. Not a single spell in Parker's repoirte proved sufficient to free him from his cell.
On the fifth day, he turned the television on.
It got one channel~ a Brittish News Agency, reporting on the 'Rise of Apocalypse' in North America. Semingly on que, the Ancient One appeared shortly after. His introduction was curt and polite. He asked a great many questions regarding how Parker had come across the Nisanti Cloak, his life, and his thoughts on the news stories regarding current events in America.
Seemingly pleased with the answers, The Ancient One went on to explain his role in the Universe, as the Sorcerer Supreme of their Dimension. Guardian against Greater Evils and Extradimensional Threats beyond mankinds wildest imagination. He extrapolated on the good works that he'd done, and what his Duty to the world was. He continued on to mention his guilt over being unable to help Earth in this time of need due to his position as Sorcerer Supreme. Finally, he made Parker an offer.
The Ancient One admitted to having been observing Parker from a distance for some time, as one of many potential candidates for this offer. He was old, and far from getting any younger. He would one day need a successor. While such a time was some ways off as of yet, the world needed men of ability and vision not tied down by Duty. The Ancient One offered to train Parker as a potential successor, provided that in the interim he turn his skills towards aiding mankind in this darkest of hours.
Unable to resist the lure of power (and the increased odds of survival that such brought), Parker agreed.
His training commenced.The Multiversal Internship
With time being the largest impediment in Parker's training, the Ancient One recognized a new approach might be required to ensure the expedient training of his apprentice.
Through his connection to the All Seeing Orb of Agamatto, The Ancient One discovered that two paths lay before Parker Robbins. One, his current path... would ultimately lead to him betraying the Ancient One and becoming a Champion of Dark Magicks that would lead to the Multiverses assured destruction. The other, Parker would rise tot he occassion and become the beacon of Light and Hope the world would need to survive the coming Apocalypse.
Utilizing the mighty magicks at his disposal, he flagged Parker as a candidate for the Timebroker's pool of Exile Potentials. Outside the bounds of time and space, Parker would be granted an oppertunity to grow and learn (both in power and maturity) that his own world's diminishing life expectancy might not afford him...
His choice made, the Ancient One could but wait to see how things played out...

[/SIZE][/u] =================== (BRIEF)BIO/HISTORY:At barely 22 years old, Thanos has worked hard to obscure the truths of his origins... weaving in half-truths, lies, and misdirections so potent that even his closest of kin cannot say with any level of certainty anything regarding the young Eternal. Amid the various stories, certain kernals of truth can be assumed as most likely to be true. For instance, that Thanos is the son of A'Lars (alias Mentor, the leader of the Eternals upon Titan) and his mate Sui-San. That Thanos was born with the Deviant Syndrome is an uncontestable fact, as evidenced by his gray skin, red eyes, and deformed chin. Beyond this, is where things get murky. Some tales say that part of his mutation is an abnormal musculature making him easily thrice as tall and strong as the average Eternal. Others say he was a welp of an Eternal, barely more than a hybrid human of sorts. In truth, the later is closer to reality. Born significantly smaller and weaker than the average Eternal, Mentor was very concerned for his offspring. He spirited him away to a secluded home to raise and nurture him... hoping that he would perhaps evolve into something greater (anathema or not). By the age of twelve, young Thanos had indeed developed in an unforseen manner. His intellect rivaled the smartest of Eternals, and his telepathic capabilities were staggering for his age. Worse, the youth seemed a nihilist and verbally voiced his philisophical stances readily to any who would listen. This did not engender any fondness with his siblings. Afraid for his son, and more importantly his people, Mentor attempted to manipulate the young Titan's mind... Barely had the first Mental Block been laid when Thanos discovered his fathers machinations. Felling betrayed, the youth ran away. For two years he lived in the wilds, and his father guilt-ridden had opted to allow him this space. Perhaps not the wisest of choices, for Thanos' hatred has only festered since. Such might have been for naught, had he not discovered a derelict space craft buried half-way into a mountainside. Recognizing the Celestial Markings, but having no fear of them, Thanos entered the Ship. The Ship's decaying A.I. engaged him, and the two became friends of a sort. After weeks of exploring, and befriending the A.I., the computer lead him to a chamber in which the Celestial's had conducted many an experiment upon his ancestors. Within this chamber, Thanos found and donned the strange Armor he now wears. As the Ships A.I explained, this armor would help compensate for his genetic deformities. A strange technological apparatus that would allow him to tap into and control the ambient cosmic energies flowing through his own veins! At first it seemed like minor enhancements, but within another three years, Thanos discovered that he'd barely scratched the surface of what the Celestial Armor could do. As his understanding of the Technology grew, so too did the suits capabilities. At long last, Thanos found a way to place himself on equal-ish footing as other Eternals his own age. His eyes were opened to the possibility that given time... he would one day surpass them all; He would have his revenge. As a means of ensuring that time, and further his chances of encountering further technologies or sources of power with which to improve himself, Thanos brokered a deal with the enigmatic Timebroker. He had but two stipulations in his 'Contract of Employment': First, and most importantly, Anything he Learned or Acquired was his; No Contestation. When he proceeded to feed upon the woman, something happened. He FELT an exchange of energy rather than just taking... a conception of spirit and flesh in an uncommon manner. For her part, the woman was a cold and distant prisoner, who swore that the moment this child was out of her she would resume her efforts to flee or die trying.
