True, but it would have been about as out of style as a mullet, just not as embarrassing. It's also possible that the artist were going for a Scott hall like hair style. He was also pretty popular in the 90's too, and he was "Billed up to 6' 8" in height - 287 lbs in weight, actually only 6' 5" with weight between 225-250 lbs.". If anyone wold have been Superman, physique speaking he had the body for it. Personality, not so much. That was back when wrestling was watchable. Like Superman, Scott Hall also sometimes pulled his hair back in a pony tale. So, I'm going with Scott Hall hair as my final answer as to 90's superman hair.

Hmmm... bizarre similarity in hairstyle there. I just can't see Superman calling people "chico" though.

True, Scott Hall got his major push in the WWF, and then he was Razor Ramon, and I think he was suppose to be Cuban there, and too my knowledge that's where he started using "chico." Plus Superman is a boy scout, and Scott Hall has always been a Heel (bad guy).
Though, physically speaking when Scott hall was in his prime would be how how I would imagine Superman. Superman is only 6'3" according th what I've read, but Scott hall is 6'5" and 250lbs. That's pretty big, and he was quick and agile too back then. I could see the writers picking up on that when they were writing superman comic books.

According to DC Wikia he's 6'3". Of course, I'm sure his height varies from Superman series to Superman series. His power level seems to vary too, so I wouldn't be surprised if there was a version of Superman that was 6'6"

Poor guy. He's lost a bunch of power and shrunk 3 inches. Old age is rough.

I am the only person who actually thought the last superman movie was good. I think superman was perfect!

I am the only person who actually thought the last superman movie was good. I think superman was perfect! The last Superman movie (assuming you mean Superman Returns) was not nearly as bad as it's reviews, but it still wasn't a good movie. It just didn't inspire anything. The actor playing Superman looked great, but he utterly lacked screen presence. Then there's the "plot" of that film, which was full of massive holes and just not very entertaining.

I really liked Brandon Routh as Clark Kent, and though he was a little bland as Superman himself, I think it's mostly because he wasn't given much to work with. Superman and Luthor were not really opposed to each other, making Luthor less of a villain and more of just some campy jerk. As I've said many times, Superman's real villain was gravity, as he spent almost every action sequence stopping things from falling: Oh no, space shuttle is falling. Catch space shuttle. Oh no, plane is falling. Catch plane. Oh no, a man fell out of a construction crane. Catch man. Oh no, giant sign is falling on people. Catch giant sign. Oh no the big Daily Bugle globe thing is falling! Catch Daily Bugle globe thing. And what does Supes do during the climactic scene? He lifts and island and throws it into space. ~TWF

I agree with the script and plot. What I liked about the portrayal of superman was his serenity. I agree that Superman did not have a Bad@$$ presence. But he had a serenity about him. He could walk into the middle of a riot and you can imagine everyone just slowing and calming down without him actually saying anything at all. It is exactly the type of presence I would expect the real superman to have. Does that make sense?

It makes sense, it's just not how Superman has always been portrayed in the comics. Superman in the comics isn't about serenity, he's about swift and decisive (if not always wise) decision making.
Batman plays the stoic, Superman reacts without hesitation.
