That was a close one... As always, Captain America feels greatful for the shield which have saved his life many times before... The now rampaging robot with a litup pair of underwear looked rather amusing, but the whole fact that it was gona destroy the whole city, pushed that aside.... It looked like the robot noticed that last attack... Captain Decided to trie and save some energy, and attack it once more... "What in the world are you doing to it Marvel???" ==============================================

In x-ray form, Captain Marvel tries desperately to come out of the Octodroid's butt. However, the hard shell of the robot that prevented her entry is also making it difficult for her to escape.
Unaware of the psuedo-robot constipation issue, Captain America and the Thing approach the giant mechanical monstrosity. It's smashing up the Krupp building with fists and tentacles. Whoever Krupp is or was, must have some bad karma to have had both a radioactive fire and a giant robot attack on his building within 24 hours!

* Ben couldn't think of what else they could do to this thing, he was out of ideas at the moment. *
* The only thing he could even try was to attempt to get into the tin can's foot. Perhaps then he could smash it's insides.*

KLANK!
Captain America's shield strikes the back of the Octodroid.
From inside, Captain Marvel feels the vibration even as she discovers that this giant robot shares something in common with The Wizard of Oz's Tin Man. The Octodroid has no heart.
What the Octodroid does have is long extending tentacles, one of which, reaches out and grabs Captain America within it's metal pincers. Focused on the star-spangled frisbee thrower, the robot ignores an orange rocky Thing by it's feet.

Being grappled by the giant monstrosity, placed Captain America in a dangerous Situation. He had to break free, but he doughted he would be able to do it by himself... The thing however seemed to have a golden opportunity since the robot was focused on him... "Thing, the robot seems focused on me, now is your chance to deliver a devastating punch..."
While trying to inspire the, Captain America tried to perform his own attack, and trie to escape... ==============================================

The Octodroid's tentacle tries to crush the life out of Captain America. However, the hero's red, white and blue shield protects him. Still, this barier does not damage the robot's claw or provide the Avenger his freedom.
The Thing takes a different approach. Instead of escaping the giant automaton, Ben Grimm wants to get himself stuck inside it.
IT'S CLOBBERIN' TIME!
Hustling like the ex-college football star that he his, the Thing dashes under the giant's right foot and smashes his way through the hatch underneath.
Captain Marvel is also inside the destructive machine, but up in it's chest. To her the following announcement plays the loudest.
"This is the voice of Doctor Octopus. This city is doomed! I shall crack it open like an egg. If I am not made the ultimate ruler of the United States, my Octodroid will march on Washington D.C.!"

Captain America thrusts his shield against the tentacle holding him.
KONK!
It does not so even scratch the Octodroid, and Captain america is unable to twist free.
There is little light inside the Octodroid making it difficult for either Captain Marvel or the Thing to see. However, they can tell that this robot has maintenence passages, with ladders climbing all the way to the automoton's head.
Ben Grimm finds nothing critical to smash in the Octodroid's foot. He's seen a lot of techo-doohickeys in his days hanging with Reed Richards and the Fantastic Four. It looks to him like the important parts would be above him, so he begins a slow climb up a ladder, reaching the robot's knee.
As microwave energy, Captain Marvel need not use the ladder. she instead floats up in darkness to the robot's neck. Tiny console lights of yellow and green that flicker on and off are the only light to lead the way.
As the Octodroid passes the now thoroughly demolished Krupp building, it crosses Harrison Street. Not yet at the Key building, the giant monster now has time to contemplate what to do about the red, white and blue superhero in it's fist.
With powerful arm muscles the Octodroid throws Captain America high into the air and far away. This true believers may be the death of Captain America!
SMASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What's that sound? Captain America turns his head to look. Before hitting the ground he sees Thor, who has swooped down in front of the Octodroid and hurled his hammer at it's head!
Inside, the Thing and Captain Marvel find that what was up before is now diagnal. The Octodroid is tipping over!
But what of Captain America and his death plunge? For him this is surely the end. Not so!!!! The Avenger lands on a giant pillow, a sticky pillow of silky webbing!!!! (That's certainly something to be thankful for.)
"Did I miss much?" Spider-Man asks.
